IT IS A RECORDING SAYING THEY ARE   WITH THE IRS AND HAVE A CASE PENDING AGAINST ME - FRAUDULENT CALL I WISH SOMETHING COULD BE DONE ABOUT CALLS OF THIS NATURE

Received a call someone with an accent saying they were officer xyz and that either I or my attorney needed to call them or they would not be responsible for how it unfolds.

I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS THE ABOVE PEOPLE...DID ANYONE USE TURBO TAX TO FILE YOUR TAXES??? OR REQUEST A PAYMENT PLAN??? THIS IS THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF...ITS A SCAM

The message stated that me or my attorney needed to call them and if they didn't hear from either party, they wouldn't be responsible for what happened next.

OFF COURSE ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO CHECK WITH THE IRS BECAUSE ALL YOU GET IS THE RUN AROUND

Threatening that I need to call back or I WILL hear from the attorney. number is disconnected when I called back.

Recorded foreign voices claiming to be IRS agents. I tried calling back just to play a game with them but no answer. Maybe some lonely men that needs some American love.

IRS will send you mail. They will not call you.

Received call from an automated system telling me that I have a claim against me.

some idiot pretending to be the irs and i better call or have my attorney call or else i'm in big trouble.

I received this same message today. When I call back it either get a busy signal or this number is no longer working

Highly doubt IRS would call and leave messages saying they have a claim, but without giving any reference number.  Also, doubt IRS would ever "wish you luck on what ever befalls upon you" if you don't call back.  Accidentally hit the callback number when trying to return another call and found it was disconnected.  Now I'm sure I'm on one of their lists as a sucker who would fall for such obvious scam.

Some mofo with an Indian accent left my husband a voice message saying that he's under arrest due to some problem with his tax. It really freaked him out and took me awhile to calm him down. We reported this number to the IRS via this link:

Called today said I didn't pay taxes, this is a total scam!

Called back and asked for supervisors name and badge/employee number, they immediately hung up, tried calling back and it has been busy signal/off the hook for almost half hour. Said his name was Paul on message left submachine, said his name was Shawn when he answered the phone, SCAM!!!

I used Turbo tax on mine. No payment plan but it may be a link with Turbotax

My husband received this call on his cell phone this morning and they told him if he didn't respond there would be a warrant out for his arrest. I promptly called the number back and unloaded on him.  He said "F**** You.
