PentaGroup 208-991-1273 shows up lots of times in caller id but no messages.

just called me

Person called and asked for someone who did not reside here, although it was ex wifes name. asked how he got #, would not say. Wanted me to relay message. Told him where to go.

I recently recieved a call from the same number.  The message was repetitive inaudiable whispering.  Really weird.  Anyone else experience this?

I keep getting calls from this number too, and the messages are always that whispering sound. When I actually answered the phone to tell them to go **** off and stop leaving me those messages, there wasn't actually a person on the line, just the same whispering sound. I've also been getting the same thing from a 812-437-7744 number... same story.

1-208-991-1273 is Dell Financial Services.

This number keeps calling between 2-8 times a day claiming to be "Dell Financial Services" and they do in fact have valid Dell customer data which they can verify my address, home phone, work phone, etc with.  I think that someone stole Dell's database and that they are using it to try to do identity theft.  Do not give them any information, instead call Dell at the official Dell number and report the number to them.  There is a girl and a guy at the number.  The girl told me her name was Ashley and when I asked for her Dell employee number she said it was 245331.  I then informed her that it was a violation of federal law to continue to call even for collections after someone asks them to stop calling.  She then said that it only applies if its sent in writing and I asked her for an address but her voice cracked and she hung up at that point.  This is a fake they are trying to scam people.  All of our Dell accounts are in good standing why would they allow people who are rude and lie to call customers?  How are these people able to verify my address etc?

I received a call today.  Wanted my address, zip code and of all things my SS#.  Shady at best.

This number 208-991-1273 is from dell financial services.  They call me at least 20 times a day and I'm getting tired of it.  I would suggest changing the phone number on the account if possible.  Or answer and say that this is no longer that persons number.

This number is indeed Dell Financial Services and is calling because they believe your account is in default. Rather than provide information I would suggest contacting Dell Financial Services directly by calling their published number.

I have received 20 called from number in the last 3 days... enough is enough.  If this is Dell.. i guarantee that this action will NOT make me a repeat customer.  This is harassment.

I am starting to get calls from them as of today, within a half hour period, they have called me 4 times, hang up and call right back. No message is left, nothing. I dont have any Dell accounts, so I am unsure what to think about this. I am not going to answer, but somehow they got my cell phone number.

They call almost everyday. I do not have an account with Dell Financial Services and do not understand why they call everyday when all they get is a fax machine....
