Got a call from a lady who could barely speak english that said we had a virus on our windows operating system. My wife had taken the call and thought something was up and as soon as I said something the lady hung up. Sounds like a scam to me !! BEWARE. When I called back the number it said it was no longer in service.

Just received a call from a man at this number, claiming to be from 'CyberWizard' and confirming my name as the authorized Windows operating system user. Claimed that there were problems with my computer/OS and corruption of my Windows drivers. Argued with me when I told him it sounded like a scam and I wouldn't trust a call from a 3rd party, would prefer to hear from Windows/Microsoft directly. Also informed him we are on the do not call list, he kept interrupting me, arguing and insisting 'we are not salesmen.' English NOT the first language for this caller.

I have received a couple of calls from 2097534814 ... I have answered but no one responds  , could be some type of scam going on .  Be Careful

I just received a call no response from caller either just breathing then they  hung up I called back and got a disconnected recording

call recieved in Reno,NV--- no answer --called back and got steady busy signal.

I just received the exact same call yesterday evening. The man was VERY insistent that I turn on my computer right then so that he could fix it. When I asked which computer, he asked how many I had. When I told him if there was really a problem with my computer, that he would know which one. He informed me that it's with ALL Windows computers. I told him it sounded like a scam & hung up the phone.

Got a call from what sounded to be an Indian man but unlike others I've read on here he insisted we had a virus on our home computer & our computer had sent the virus to "their" server! He never identified who he worked for nor did he give me any company name. Knowing this was definitely a scam I asked what type of computer do we have, for him to tell me we had a Windows OS. I replied, "I'm sorry, you're wrong, we don't have Windows!" to which he told me, "Yes, you do, you don't know what you have." For the record, my MacBook Air was sitting in my lap as we talked! I told him whatever he was calling for to remove our number as we were on the Do Not Call List only for him to interrupt me & tell me, "we'll call you everyday". After repeating I wanted our number removed, same as before he interrupted & nastily & arrogantly kept repeating "we'll call you everyday". For kicks I then asked to speak to his supervisor for him to say, "I am the supervisor!" I then told him if he/they call one more time, the next call they would get from us would be from our lawyer, then I said, "oh yeah, we don't have Windows this is a Mac household." The conversation then ended with him, in a very raised, angry tone telling me again they would call everyday as I hung up on him.

I got exactly this same call today.  I told him that if they ever called me again I would pursue him.  That was two hours ago and no more calls...
