all they said was my first name. if you look up the no it shows an office in Stockton for  SSI  now I wonder if the yes answer that I gave was the only thing they needed

Southern accented woman says, "Just checking the static on this line."  I repeated "hello" - and she says, "I'm sorry, I'll call you right back."  She never called back.  Had to be a scam.

I had the same experience as Leah from Oct 12 2016. It was a man that said the exact same thing. Checking the static on this line and then proceeded to say my name several times, but it was left on my VM.

I had the same experience as Leah. They said my first and last name. I answered, "Who is this?" (not yes or no) and they hung up.
