IF you give these people your address, birthdate, credit card number and any other personal information they ask for, THEN they will promise to get all the bugs and viruses out of your computer. But the truth is, they don't even know if you have a computer or not! All they want is to scam you! Get as much $$$ out of you as they can.

Computer scam

They call with an auto-dialer, so there's no one there when you answer. I hate that! Then the heavy accent, and when I said I'd been waiting, the person said they'd been waiting for me! Then they hang up. I called back to get my name removed, and another foriegner answered by asking for my name. When I said I didn't want to give it out, but wanted to be removed, he hung up, too!

By the way, didn't the government fix this problem a long time ago with their do-not-call list? They only made it worse!

Yeah, received a call this morning.  We spent $100.00 last year and purchased Panasonic phone with Call Block feature.  Even though we are paying the stupid phone company $170.00 each month, we have to screen our business calls just to protect ourselves from these scammers.  Panasonic Call Block is working just fine for us and we get great pleasure in blocking these calls.  Then we sit back and listen to these morons continuing to call us because their call is disconnected after the 1st ring !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Don't waste your time talking to these morons.  Don't waste your time asking them to place you on Do Not Call list.  These parasites are in business to verify each # so they can can keep calling you and selling your #s to other scammers.

Got this call today, did not answer.  But I want to share my idiotic story so others (hopefully) don't get their phone #'s sold to these companies.  My landline is not listed, I only use it for work, through a forwarded number.  I've had this # for two years and besides work calls, get almost no calls on it (1-2 telemarketer's in 2 yrs).  Yesterday, I called a Cheetos instant win game #.  Yes, I believe Chester Cheetah sold my number to these spammers!  Within a few minutes of calling Cheetos, I got a call from a different telemarketer last night.  I listened to the automated voice, until she said press 2 to remove my number from their list.  I did that, now today- this number is calling.  Be warned, even a huge company like Frito-Lay sells out their customers!

They call everyday.No answer.No message.Stop calling.

This person called and I told him wrong number he insisted it was correct number.
When I questioned him he had the audacity to say if i was deaf.

Scammers,  don't answer.

Tired of calls. 4 times today

Confirmed, It's a Scam. They dial random numbers, my home phone and also my cell phone. When I asked how they got my cell phone the caller hangs up.  I receive these calls just about everyday for the past month. And yes a heavy accent so you can barely understand what they are saying.

This company keeps calling me every day, I don't answer the phone though.

Got a call from "Kevin" (with a heavy accent) from the "Windows Help and Support Department" about dangerous files on my Windows computer.  When asked how he knew I had a windows computer, he referred to the problems they had supposedly found.  He wanted me to go to the computer, and go to a site, but I told him I didn't have time.  When asked for a website to go to, or a way to reach him he hung up on me.  Definitely a phishing scam.

Received a call from this number from a man with a very thick accent about a virus on my computer that he can fix.  (very difficult to understand what he was saying)  He knows about the virus because it was reported from my Registration number of Windows. I told him I would call him back and requested his name and number. He stumbled for few seconds then told me his name was Charlie and again took a few seconds before giving me a number 253-965-7943.  I did not call that number (it was different than the number this call came from), I did not want my number to be associated with any part of this scam.
