Called me, had all my bank account information. Said they were calling the police on me because they had proof that I was involved in numerous criminal activities and that I had to send them 2000 to stop it. I am just a a stay at home Mom. I never curse but I told them to F=off and hung up. Got off the phone and cried. Reported it to the police because I was they had all my information and they said I was going to lose everything including my family (how they knew I had a family I don't know.) I now have monitering on all three credit scores, a closed bank account and an enlarged view of all the scammers out there.

This person called and asked me if I was aware that there is a lawsuit against my social security number and did I want them to transfer me to the company that is filing the lawsuit. I asked what company are they representing and the person told me that if I did not say yest to getting transferred to the company that is filing the lawsuit against me that they were going to send the police to my home tomorrow to come and take me to jail.

I JUST recieved a call from this number at my job. "andy" im assuming the secretary called an transfered  me to a "tim parker" who then stated was I aware of a lawsuit being filed against me for a loan suposedly recieved in Nov 2013 for an amount he couldnt even quote back to me. He said he was from Tim&Davis Legal Associates. An indian w/ heavy accent. I asked who the loan was thruough and he state "american cash". I then proceeded to ask for the documents w/ my signature and ss# on them be faxed to me, but I was threatned w/ a supeana and being picked up by the police at my job or home. They had my home address as well. At this point I three wayed my dad in while "tim" was checking to see if I could settle the amount outside of court. My dad and I had a conversation of this being a scam and needless to say immediately after we finished the conversation they chimed back in and rushed us off the phone stating I needed to get an atorney.

Recommend you contact the Federal Trade Commission.  If this is a debt collector executing abusive and illegal debt collection practices you may be entitled to financial compensation from the debt collector under the Fair Debt Collection and Practices Act.
