called and when i said hello they hung up.. WTF.. probly a scam anyways, why call me long distance and then hang up when i answer? i guess the dnc list doesnt work when they are calling from outside the country.. WTF

I answered and they said (after I said hello three times) that they were calling from "Windows" and that my computer had "many viruses" so I should turn on my computer so they could gain remote access and be able to "fix it".  They said the viruses were very dangerous and they had many customers loose all of their files from the viruses.  Of course I didn't do this.  Has anyone else talked to them?

They called me (June 12 2012) but there was no one there when I answered.  Sounds like a scam for sure!

Had the same call a few times, answered it tonight.  He said, with heavy indian accent, that he was calling from Facebook saying that my account was trying to get hacked into and I had a dangerous file compromising my computer.  He said that he would walk me through the steps to get rid of the file.  I just hung up.  It is a scam.

i got a call from this number 210-251-0006 three times on monday each time i answerd nothing at all so i hung up today 3 times on teusday i got a call from this number 210-251-0006 still nothing at other end so i hung up and then i went to block them and again they called still no answer but they manage to get throw my block how is that posible this is starting to scare me because who ever is calling prank calling my number this is harrassmentis this person a syco path and needs to be stop sincerly kimberley please help to find out who is doing this thank you kindly

Same thing as Sam... "said that he was calling from Windows and that my computer had  many viruses so I should turn on my computer so they could gain remote access and be able to fix it."  i asked for a company name and he could not provide one.  I asked who my Internet service provider was - he did not know.  "Just kept saying he was calling from a company associated with Windows.  He started getting pissy with me as I grew agitated with him.  Told him I was too busy right now, asked for a number to call him back at - would not leave one.
