Just got an email claiming they had warrant for my arrest but I could call this number for an offer in compromise to stop trouble at my home or job. WTH????? Attached file even contained a fake judge's signature.  Charges "pressed" are supposedly "Violation of Federal banking regulation which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a fine of $50,000". First of all Ronnie Wilson claims to be with the "State Investigation Department" but the letterhead claims to be from The United States District Court". No mention of which district court or what state this supposed investigator works for.  Second, they claim this is a warrant issued by a judge (based on "judge's signature" on the supposed arrest warrant, yet they later claim if I don't respond by requesting an offer in compromise they will start the process of pressing those charges against me.  You can't get an arrest warrant unless charges have already been pressed. No charges yet = no arrest warrant = fake judge's signature. This is a complete BS scam.  I'm forwarding the email to my state attorney general, the FTC and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. This SH#+ needs to be stopped because unfortunately some people are scared and give in to these criminal tactics. Email this message was sent from is ronnie.atlaw@aol.com.

I received the same email today. I called the FBI in DC and forwarded the email to them. I called "Ronnie Willson" (the number that was on the email) and told him what I had done and he hung up in my face. Stupid people in this world.
