After about the 4th time, left(210) 614 1167 as a callback number,instead of just hanging up,but the calls are  actually dialed from (213)232-2367.

Received a call from 210-614-1167.  They've been calling for the past 3 weeks... never leaving a message nor do they stay on the phone long enough for you to ask any questions.  Seems like they ring my phone and then hang up....  So, I finally decided to call them back only to find out that they are wanting me to subscribe to a newspaper or magazine.  I asked them to removed my number from their calling list, but the girl told me it may take up to 30 days for my number to be 'filtered' out.  ??

Yes, they are calling to see if you want the newspapers to come to your home.  I wasn't too upset about receiving the call, it was too my cell and not my landline.  They must be harried people because the woman I spoke to, acting irritated that I called back and if I was interested in getting a subscription, I wouldn't have through her.  Sheesh, you called me!!!!  They don't talk long, may be a call mill where all they do is sit, and make those calls, and if they do land a sale, maybe some bonus.  And I thought my work-life was bad.  There's no time to ask them what the name of their company is, etc.

This is the LA Times 775-319-1597 and they left me a message to call them.  

This is the LA Times trying to get me to resubscribe.  NEVER.  First you ask for only the Sunday paper and next thing you know they are bringing you full service and WANTING their money for all of it.  If you don't want the paper make sure YOU CALL and say STOP!!!!!!!  Never will I subscribe again.  Such a mistake and waste of paper.  

The phone number they left is 210-614-1167 but the prior # is what phoned me.

Called me when I was on phone. An Oklahoma telemarketer called earlier and tried to sell a full week after offering $1/wk. Repping FW Star Telegram.
