This person calls and pretends you owe a company money and you have to pay them for a settlement.

This number called me and said they were sending warrants out for my arrest for a debt that I have no knowledge of.  Was very rude and would not let me ask questions but had all of my personal information.  

Had this person call and threaten if I didn't pay a lump sum. For a payday loan that was supposedly taken out in my name. Threatens me with charges and warrants for my arrest. Claimed I took it out last year in January. But is using all old information about me. Like address and job.talked to my attorney and he said not to give any info, and that it is against the law to threaten with a felony to get payment. Just so all of you know.

Called stating owed a PayDay loan and had a bad check. The banking information they gave was incorrect. They were threating and abusive. This must be a scam. Turning it over to law enforcement.

They have called me several times. When I actually called them back they told me they had felony warrants for my arrest for payday loan. They would not give me any details as to who this supposed pay day loan was with or the amount of anything of the sort. Said I would have to get an attorney to contact them if I wanted any of that info and that I will have to make payments to avoid the felonies. She was also so "nice" as to offer to do whatever she could to work with me on the amount of the payments , but still could not give me any information as to whom or what I was paying.

I also received this call.  A person by the name of Stephanie Givens from API called me.  I was also given the same story that I owed for a payday loan and if I didnt pay was going to forward my case the the Attorney Generals office for prosecution.  I contact the State of Texas Attorney Generals office and they said this is a scam.  They do not prosecute on delinquent payday loans.  They received these call all day long.  DO NOT pay!  I also told the lady at the attorney generals office that I asked Stepanie Givens for proof of this delinquent loan and was told she couldnt send it and the attorney generals office said the reason they cant send you the information is because they dont have it.  THIS IS A SCAM!!  Contact the Texas Attorney Generals Office @ 800-621-0508 a file a complaint.
