Received a call as with countless other calls from various numbers since last Thursday for loans I've not applied for. Did not leave a message. Called back to say a lawyer was in need of contacting me for U.S. Financial. When I told him that the lack of information he could not provide me does not suffice my giving him my address and where I work he told me to contact an attorney... I've been receiving bogus calls for a week or longer and cannot seem to get them to quit!!!

Being receiving a call saying something about loans that I applied for and I need to talk with an attorney, when the only loan I have is my student loan since I am in school, then they got the nerve to try and threaten me. This is Scam, been there done that before, how can I report these people?

This is what I did immediately following my received call. Only they claimed to be representing US Financial whoever that is..  They told me to contact a lawyer and hung up on me when I pointed out what viable information they needed they had to ask ME for!?  My address and place of business. If you can block the number but definitely report it to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) so they can review it.

This is about the 5th or 6th time I received the same call inthe past 2or 3 years.  It seems like a scripted call.  They always say the same thing exactly, but have called from various numbers from various parts of the US.  They always have some type of accent.  I believe it is some type of scam.  I never answer if I don't recognize the number & don't return the call.

Called and said I had a loan, which I did not, said to get a lawyer.

I Just received this phone call from a man with a strong accent saying I am being sued by US financial for a loan and there are criminal charges pending. I just talked to representative from Carlson Law Firm and  they confirmed there has been many people reporting of these calls and are scams. A police report has been made against them. Just be aware

Same thing they call and call say I owe money and threaten me with legal issues I live in fla. Scam sounds right.

I called them back and called them back and called them back. So much so that they now have blocked my number where I can not call them back. I let them know that I knew they were a scam and that they were criminals. If everyone could do that at the same time the world could tie up thier phone lines and slow thier roll. These are the same guys with 952-777-2238.

I agree with you I also received a call a couple hours saying that there gonna file a lawsuit for some payday loans that I supposedly didnt pay ,scam to me, how do I report this.?

ive been receiving bogus calls from foreigners by several different numbers for about a week telling me that my loan was pre approved.  however i did not apply for a loan. and received a call lastnight from 210 881 0627 telling me that i owe money and to have an attoney contact them. they threatend me with going to court and a warrant. which is very weird i have no idea who they are and i would love to report them. i hate scams although im glad to not be alone with this weird situation seeing how many other people are having the same problem. i really hope that they stop contacting me!!!!!!!

I'm really getting tired of this number calling me for no reason I do not owe any money and I will get the athorities involved because they keep on bothering me. I'm not going to stand for this and it's really annoying I've never even heard of this company

they sad the same thing to   me , I have been sued for a loan I don't have  I told him I dint know what he is talking about  I dint understand everything he sad with a very hard accent . I just said this is a scam and he hang up on me lol...

This caller from phone number 210-881-0627 is constantly calling my cell phone number and job number. I told the caller this is a scam and don't call me ever again.

This is a scam phone call, they're trying to scare people through threats of warrants and court. Don't give out any personal information.... This is a SCAM protect yourself!

These people just want to scare you...That's all....I told the lot of [***] back ...there is no way to get you....

They called me at work today and told the lady in my dept that he was officer Harry Cooper and that if I did not return his call I would be arrested at my job by the end of the day. She said he had a heavy accent and she had a hard time understanding him. Name did not match accent.

Somebody please call these people and tell that that Brian is still waiting for the police to come pick him up.  They have blocked my number.
