they called me saying they had me on camera with ma picture id. n say i wrote bad check

Saying I've been writing bad checks I owe allied cash advance they're going to suspend my license and take me to jail

i keep getting harssing calls with this number?

this is a scam don't fall for it

The lady got very rude when I asked for what company accused me of writing hot check, said was returned payment from a checking account over 7 Yrs ago. The case number is my social security number. Asked once again that’s when she went off, told her go ahead do what you want and f*off

Called saying I owed cash America I have never had an account there

this is definetly a scam using a name from over 10+yrs ago, and case number is a social, don't call or give any info

This rule is even more relevant when the debt collector
appears to be involved in a scam or an intimidation scheme.

called me telling me taking me to court and I have a bench warrant....crazy

I called and the person who answered said this is the Dept. Of Legal Affairs for US Treasury.  They asked if I'd written down the case number, I said no. Asked for the phone I was calling from was the number they called, I said I didn't know. they asked for my name and I asked, "This is the IRS?" They said, "No, it's legal affairs for the US Treasury" I said, Okay, and what is your mailing address, and the phone call disconnected.
