I received a call from this number with no ID and little else/  The ID only said "New York".  My experience dictates that if it was one of my friends or colleagues, I would receive   their name.  I believe this telemarketing crap has gotten totally out of hand.  Expecting help from our do-nothing government is even more of a joke.

Left a message is very broken English "I'm calling in regards to your Website"

They just called me here in Calgary, Canada.  Caller ID just said "New York".  I didn't know the number and didn't bother answering.  As usual, when they went to voicemail, they didn't leave a message.  I'm starting to get frustrated with these calls.  It used to be I'd get a call like this one or twice a month, but recently I've been getting them daily.  Don't these scam artists have something better to do with their time, then bother people?

Well, they just called again about 20 minutes ago.  This time the caller ID showed "V126122609" which I have no idea what that means.  Didn't answer and it went to voice mail.  This time they did leave a message.  A woman's recorded voice, but obviously a recorded message.  It was partially cut off because of the intro of my voice mail.  Anyway, the part of the message I got said something like "Call back at 212-235-1880 for your free SEO Analysis report.".  Whatever that is, I have no idea.  I'm definitely NOT calling back.

It's a company robo calling people and businesses trying to get Search Engine Optimization (SEO) work. Ignore it.

They called again a few minutes ago.  This time the caller ID read "V12715095700033".  I guess they don't take no one answering as a sign to stop calling.  Same message as last time.  Call them back for my free SEO analysis report.  Did just as you said Rob, and what I normally do.  I ignored the call and deleted the message.

same here - indian sounding guy, choppy line that sounds like a skype call, used public DNS to get my info and wanted to redo my "website".  Must have called 5 times over the past month.

Called yet again here in Calgary yesterday at around 3:15 pm.    Again, I didn't answer and they left a message for me to call them back for a free SEO.  When will they stop!!!

I got this almost everyday and went on my voice message said "....you don't want to miss the chance, Call back at 212-235-1880 for your free SEO Analysis report"

I got this number today...  I did what I've been doing lately.. I did a whole slapstick routine with them...
Keep in mind, I recognise numbers like this almost instantly... so am ready to go for broke.. til I frustrate them no end.

Them: Im calling today sir to talk to you about the performance of your website..
Me: So, what are you selling me
Them: Im not calling to sell you anything sir
Me: Are you sure?
Them: yes sir, we just want to discuss with you the performance of your website
Me: So you DO want to sell me something
Them: No sir, not calling to sell you anything
Me: So your calling to buy something from my website?
Them:No sir, Im not calling to buy anything, Im calling to talk to you about your website performance
Me: So, whats the point of your call, you dont want to sell me anything but just to talk about website performance?
Them: Sir..
Me: So your telling me you just want to 'shoot the [***]' about my website.. come on, tell me, you are really trying to sell me something right?
Them: No sir..We just want to..
Me: Sell me something?
Them: No sir..
Me: I don't believe it...

* what I did NOT get to say is, so you get paid to call me right? you get paid to just call up people and not sell them anything? You dont have a single offer to provide to me after we discuss my website performance?
Now come on... someone that could handle MY questions, should DESERVE to get the sale... tho, not that website performance is really high on my list of priorities atm, and I do all that myself but sheeeeeesh!

Got a call again today from this number, but I have them on call block (from past calls) so they didn't get the chance to leave a message.  Hopefully they won't call again now that they know they are being blocked.

Well, I guess they don't like being blocked and are just going to keep on calling.  They called again here in Calgary about 20 minutes ago.  They are still blocked so they got cut off.  I wonder how long this will keep up?

These are scam artists trying to get your personal information.  It's called "phishing".

Stay FAR AWAY!  Do not answer them!
