I received a call from this #.  It rang 1 and a half times and then they hung up.

This telephone number is from One Source Talent, a REAL modeling and acting agency located here in NYC. The website is: http://www.onesourcetalent.com/ So visit the site, look around... it's not a scam.

If it's "real," then why don't they leave a voicemail? They have called me twice and never left a message.

omg.. that Chef W. guy who said its "not a scam"..has been going to other websites like this and saying the same thing... I think he works for them..

Hey!! This ist a scam they called me and I went... I live in NY so. They were very helpful with me being an inspiring model.

It is a scam trust me. One Source Talent is about getting your money not making you money. I'm a fulltime SAG actor working in NYC and I don't no anyone who has gotten work from them. The way they make money is by getting the actor/model to buy compcards, headshots and being posted on their web site. And anyone telling you otherwise doesn't know what the hell he or she is talking about. That's called "paying to play" and once you pay you'll never play.

I got a call from them and they left a voice mail. i think the site is totally real.

I got a call from them. Bt I never signed up. I only signed up for star now. I think that one source talent got my number from star now. But the lady sounded really nice. Bt after reading that its a scam.... I want to believe it but I don't want to believe it! I wish the police could trackl them down.

It's not a scam.  I have a family member that took her child to their agency and I will be taking my daughter as well.  It is one source Talent.  I do not work for them

They left me a msg stating that my child (they knew the child's name) had submitted an application.
I called them back and asked for the person (by name) who called me. The receptionist answering the phone said she was on another call and if "she" could help me. I said no I want the other person. She said "hold on" and the other person magically answered the phone right away. I told her who I was and she again stated that my child submitted an application. I then stated that I want to see a copy of that application. She became rude and said there is no way that is possible. I then asked her what is her last name and she said "that is none of your god-d*&$#d business", in the nastiest tone of voice. I tried to get more info from her but she hung up.

Let's face it folks....a legitimate business would not treat callers like that.

I believe you that One Source is not a fully legitimate talent source company. A talent agent gets paid when you get paid, not them get paid so you might get paid.

Its not a scam I just got a call from them. They want to talk to my mom to see if I could go to New York for an interview.

I recently signed up for one source talent. But, I'm sort of scared because I gave them my information like telephone number and stuff and no one has called/ emailed. Any help?

That is indeed the number for One  Source Talent and  Modeling.  It is a real business, but  it is not reputable.  The "real" agencies do not ask for hundreds of dollars.  They charge an application fee, for head shots and a monthly membership  fee. It's a ripoff.  They "sign" everyone who walks into their door regardless of how you look.  Do your research people so you don't get ripped off.  I would have been pissed wasting my time and money taking the trip in for them to see my son but I checked around first.
