RUDE caller asked for our company's president. NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.

Call from this number, don't know who it is, so didn't answer.

This number calls my VP several times a week and when I pick up, they hang up.  When I dial the number, you get a rapid busy tone.  Very annoying!

According to the caller ID, someone from this number called at 8:42AM on Monday, October 11, the Columbus Day holiday, but didn't leave a message. Good grief -- even on a regular work day no one answers the swtichboard before 9:30AM.

Guys calls over and over (got me twice in ten minutes today).  Just says our company president's name very abruptly, hoping we'll let him through.  Never wants voice mail, never leaves a message.  No company name on the ID, but the phone number is 212.293.0004.

As I write this one of these morons is hassling me (212-293-0004). He calls about 1-3 times a day and has tried different ruses to get to various people in our company. We have changed his caller ID to "Idiot Jerkface" so we know when it is him and it always makes us smile. I use different voices to answer the phone. He just fell for it; hilarious. I just "transferred him" to someone, but not really, he is on hold now for a record 2-1/2 minutes! Usually, I say I am going to transfer him to whomever he wants and simply just hang up the phone. Then he calls back and I tell him that we are having a lot of trouble with our phones today and that he will hear a dial tone after the transfer, but he has to stay on the line and it will eventually get connected in about 10 seconds. Gotta have a sense of humor with these guys, otherwise you get so mad. Have fun with them everyone!

Why do they think we would EVER do business with them when they are soooooooooo RUDE!!!

Our business recieved another call from this guy at  8:21 AM when the business doesn't open till 9.  He says he was to speak to the boss and uses his name as if they are good ol' buddies.  When I ask for his name he hangs up. This same number 212-293-0004 calls at least every week and I never let them get to the boss.

Asks for the boss as if they know each other.  If we say the boss is not in, he says he'll call back.

Called again today from 212-293-0004 but have used 212-293-0116 before.  Asks for owner like they are old friends.  When we say "may I tell him who is calling?" they hang up. Too bad...we WANT to transfer him because the business owner wants to talk to him and get taken off their list but they never stay on long enough to get to him.  

Don't know what they expect if they don't even stay on the phone to talk to the person they asked for?

As mentioned, Caller asked for President of Company, then rudely hung up when we responded that he was not in the office

Our caller ID shows Spartan Cap (they are looking for investors) Rude time wasting bottom feeders.
they shouldn't be allowed to use anything more advanced than a fisher price phone.

That's hilarious!  I'm gonna do that!  The caller ID comes up as Sparton Agency, but from now on, I'm gonna answer "K-Y corporation, how can I direct your call"!  LOL

It was Micheal from an investment firm so he said. When i ask to be remove he just got rude and called me names. Was it not enough for the investment bankers to get bailed out now they need to make crank phone calls?????

yes yes yes! you are right about that one. they make it sound as if they are old buddies with the person they're calling for. then when you ask their name, they just hang up. someone's got to stop these guys.

They called me today and said he was Max Hamburger and asking for the owner of our company, I mentioned he was out with the hamburgler and mayor mayo and he said oh you are funny and hung up. its all fun play with them on the phone, the jokes on them!!!!

"Max Hamburger" just called our law office asking to speak with the owner, I put him on hold and he hung up.  I have to remember the "Hamburgler/Mayor McCheese" bit.  I can not believe people still cold call, especially to potential investors.  what an inane waste of time.

Did a little research on this number. I called 212-293-0123 and talked to a lady that confirmed the the 212-293-0004 number does originate from there. I asked to be taken off of their call list. They also have a 877 number. maybe we should all just start calling that number to annoy them during the day.

Called my cell phone.  No message left.  Are they stretching to the world of trying to reach out to individuals now?  Gah...

Received a call from this number today. The guy acted like he was friends with the owner of our company and tried to get his cell number. When I asked to take a message he said "Yeah that would be great" and then hung up on me.
We usually transfer these annoying calls to an unoccupied extension where they leave VM that is never checked. Lol
