Says He Is from Tech Support From Windows And He Is Calling About My Computer.

My caller I'd said HUD. Can almost guarantee  it is not the real HUD

This is a scam. Caller ID says HUD.  The person tries to convince you that your computer is having problems with windows. They ask you to turn on the PC and push a series of buttons trying to gain remote access to your computer.  I am let him rattle on for quite a while before hanging up on him.

Caller ID says "Dept of Housing"
Don't think so.

Caller ID said:  Dept. of Housing.  No reason to receive a call from them.  Do not answer calls that I don't recognize the number or comes up as unknown name.

This guy keeps calling me telling me I have a problem with my laptop. How in the heck does he know if I am having issues or not. Thats my question.

Amy worked it out ok - read post above - you haven't got a problem but they try to convince you otherwise and they take over your PC then force you to hand over credit card data to remove malware THEY installed.  It's the scam that keeps on taking, too, once they got your card info. BEWARE!

Comes up on caller ID As HUD. No reason for anyone to call from HUD. No one answers when I called the number back.
