I got a call from this number as well they did not leave me a message either.

I got a call from this number and it has to do with an on-line application that I completed. It is a pre-screening company.

i got a call from this number and it was a recording message saying that I completed online job application for their client and they will verify my information. and then it hung up

I got a call about 3:47pm central. Caller did not leave a message. I called the number back and it was busy.

I received this phone call at 11:04am... about an online application i completed for "Employment selects" (company name) i was told that an verification specialist would be on the line for a pre-screening interview regarding the "online application i recently submitted.  After being on hold for a few moments, while at work no less, they hung up abruptly. Without any answers.  I think called the number back, and it answered the call, just as it did when the number called me. and went through the same process as the first call, i think had my co-worker call the number and it was busy...

My resume is on Monster, hot jobs and career builder.com.  I have not applied for anything online in over 3 weeks.

I received a call this morning as well.However, the person on the phone left a voice mail that said, "please hold for the next representative", and then the line hung up. My resume is also posted on several "job sites".

I missed a call from this number, when I call it back, i just get a message that says "all circuits are busy." I have not applied for a job in at least a year. when I do a reverse phone number search on 411.com, it says the number is from New York.

...yup...missed a call from them too this afternoon...my resume is all over the place and I have applied for jobs in NY...they left no message and really not much to make of it....who knows....

I missed the call, had a recording on my voicemail that got cut off. Then I searched the number online and found this. I am also looking for a job online and I applied for one in NJ.

This number is regarding an online application for employment. It was a Craig's listing for a job. It's a fake, but I didn't find it out until I gave them 3 references and they are contacting them now.

I missed this call and got a vm "online application message" which was cut off.  I haven't applied for anything online in a while.  I did just repost my resume though on 2-3 job boards: Monster, Yahoo and an industry one.

I just got a call and all the above happened.  Could my information be in danger of extortion?

Missed a call from this number, returned the call and it was a automative service telling me to hold for verification regarding a Online Application I had submitted. I hung up!

I got a call from this number and immediately assumed it was a spam call. I answered the call so that I could inform the caller to please remove me from the calling list. After I answered the call, the call immediately ended - no recorded messages or actually person answered. According to what others have posted, I believe this was related to an online application I completed over a month ago.

I just got a call from this number, my resume is posted online with Monster, Careerbuilder,etc.  I answered, got the recording and as I waited for the representative, the call was disconnected.  I have applied to several online jobs and the company is always "confidential" but the recruiting company I believe is Career Network.  I will no longer fill out ANY online job applications for them or these type opportunities.  They ask for your cell phone number, address, cell phone carrier, ask you about your credit and if you would like information on owning your own business or continuing education.  They ask you for references and you HAVE to furnish email addresses of your references.  They called mine a week ago but NO ONE from ANY COMPANY has called ME about a JOB!!!!   Could this be a scam?  What the HECK???

I had a missed call from this number today at 12:22, also with no message. My info is on Monster.com, so I'm assuming it's coming from them.

Same as the above. My resume is all over the net. I missed the call at 3:54pm Eastern time. No message.
