She had a bad Philippino accent and I can tell she was calling from a call center... I told her my husband works for the department of treasury and that this was a scam. I asked who she really worked for .. She said "the government" and hung up. Total scammers!!! - RecA man named Julian called from "Royal Publishing" called and claimed they were putting together a program for are local high school that includes team pictures. It sounded like they wanted money to put an ad in this thing. Actually, the whole call sounded fishy as I asked him five times for the name of his company before he answered. Plus he asked for a guy at our company that would have nothing to do with advertising or the local high school.

- yamasI have been getting a call from this number for the last week at 1:00am, 2:00am and 10:00. They do not have an accent, so it must be a recording. They said that I have a judgement against me and I could resolve it by calling 888-303-2813. When I call this the 888... number anonymously, they pick up the phoned, but no one speaks. When I call the 212... number back the operator says: "The number you dialed is not in service. When I call 001-212-619-9999 someone answers. This number originates in India. This is a scam. I am reporting it to the police and federal government.

- EVBA call came in on my cell phone and the caller specifically used my name and asked to speak with me. I asked who was calling, and the caller identified herself as calling from the United States government. I asked which department of the government she was calling from and she stated that she is from the department of "F*CK YOU, F*CK YOU, F*CK YOU." I quickly hung up the phone.
I called Verizon, my cell phone carrier, and the customer service representative blocked the number and also said it was from another Verizon cell phone number. She said that she could see the caller had called multiple other numbers. I asked how she knew my name and was told that there are applications that you can buy that will show another cell phone user's name and number. She said she would follow-up with the harrassing cell phone user on her end.- Caller: "United States Government"

- Sarah whitacre replies to MkI got a call from the number. He knew my name, then repeated "i want to [***] you."
- I got them this timethey wanted me to run cmd and then assoc. finally they asked me to type in iexplore 103.38.178.123 which sounded like an ip address. I kept them on the phone for 17 minutes while I delayed and said my computer was booting up or i had keyed in the command wrong. I repeated their instructions back incorrectly. I just played real stupid because I knew they would hang up if they thought I knew they were a scam. Overall, it was a success to delay them from bothering the next person and they did ultimately get angry enough to f-bomb me. fun fun fun. I hope they call again.
