It's a scam preying on the elderly. They're trying to sell medical alert devices to the unsuspecting and are happy to just take your credit card numbers and names. Buy your medical alert devices from a reputable dealer, not from these parasites. Caller ID is "New York".

Be careful with these NEWYORK Phone Number 212-662-2315. This is the business of scamming.
They will scare you and ask to pay cash on green dot card.
They will drain all your money from your bank account and transfer the money in foreign countries within few minutes.

IRS will never call. Nobody calls. They will send you a notice. If money matter comes never deal. Go personally OR CALL AND CONFIRM.
This thing is happened to all Indian people. These scammers are from other countries.

LEFT NO MESSAGE, DNC LIST WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING?

Called on 9/10/2014 at 3:40 pm.    Didn't leave any msg.   I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.    Googled it and turned out that this is a scam.

got the scam message today.  reported it to do not call registry.

Got call at 10:40 am. Did  not recognize number. New York number. Did not answer the phone. Nothing but scammers.

Got a call from this number today.  The only thing showing on Caller i.d. is New York.  Left no message.

these parasites keep calling also with similar number, all starting with 212 area code, then 662 continuing with different 4 numbers e.g. 212 662-2315, 212 662-1312, 212 662-5375, 212 662-4579 and 212 662-1295. Everytime I block the number , another number starting with 212-662-XXXX will appear. I wish I could just block them all out.

I have had five of these 212 area code numbers with the same last four numbers as listed above.  I block one and they come in with another number!!  One came in as "Roberto Ortiz", one as "Marie Robinson" and the rest as "Unavailable".  VERY IRRITATING!  I Googled one number and it said it was "Life Alert."  Wish there was something that could be done with these people!!

Definitely a scam preying on elderly.  Do not answer any call from 212-666xxxx ,they are from India using majicjack device and will call up to 10x per day if you answer.

On DNC, Phone range twice, caller I.D. listed New York.  Caller disconnected before my answering machine kicked in.  .

This number has called us 4 times in the last month. We are listed "on the do not call" list. How do we get this stopped ?

Isn't it against the law to call a number on the "Do not call" list?
