Caller says something like "your medical supply order is now ready for shipment.  This order was placed by a friend at no charge to you.  Press (1) to continue.  THIS IS A BIG SCAM!  Needs to be reported.  I saw this on the news once & some seniors are being taken advantage of.  I have received several of these calls over the past year.  This matter needs immediate attention.

I just got one yesterday 7-9-2014 form Robert Ortiz 212 662 4579. I'm visiting my 89 yr old father.
I assume they are preying on Seniors

Receive this call often.Cannot get it removed. Name given is Roberto Ortiz. Clear spam provider.

1005AM received a call from 212-662-4579 ID showed Roberto Ortiz male recording advising me my medical order is ready for shipment and to press 1. Needless to say I don't have any medical needs. This is a scam...

I just got a call from this number and when I picked up my phone a message was being given that said to punch 1 to speak to someone. I did so and was disconnected.

I didn't answer it because I didn't know the person and they weren't from my area but the name on my caller ID was Roberto Ortiz.

I got the Robert Ortiz call at 10:15 pm. No message left.  BLOCKED!!

Got several calls from this #, usually no one speaks when I answer.  The latest said an order was ready to ship and to press "1", which I did but nobody answered.  What moron is behind this nuisance?

Received this call at 10:50pm said your prescription is ready to press 1, but my husband hung up the phone. Very annoying

These idiots call me at 12:58 AM to tell me I have a won a medical alert. I would to know where the hell is the government  in stopping these calls (I am on the do not call list).

Targeting seniors for a "FREE" medical alert system.   What they don't tell you is there is a "monthly" fee to have it after you get it.    I hung up and will block the call.   It doesn't do any good to report these numbers to the "do not call list" as they are robo calls and the government doesn't even seem to know how to stop them.  They have equipment to make it look like they come from "anyplace" they want it to.
One of them got mad at me one day because I pressed a button and made the noise in their ear and 3 minutes later, I got a call and the caller ID showed "my own name and number".  They have equipment to do about anything they want now.

This idiot called (a robo call I assume) at 12:35 AM this morning!!!! Boy was I mad!!!! I had just fallen asleep. I only answered because my boyfriend is the only one that calls at odd hours & I thought something was wrong. Anyway, I listened to the message & it was the same as others posted here about a medical device that someone ordered for me. I didn't order anything & don't know of anyone that did. I left a message & told them I was filing a complaint with FCC. The ones I have filed so far haven't done much good but I intend to pursue this one! What good is the no call list???

I, too, got a call last night ... just was falling asleep ... at 1050 PM.  Medic Alert ... robo call ... really p'eed me off too.  I screamed at him and hung up just as the caller had said press one.  Then I got to wondering if my 86 year old dad had gotten a medic alert and something was wrong with him.  These people have no heart.  I'll be blocking Mr. Roberto Ortiz. (but I call  him something else!)

I received this call from this number.  I am on a Do Not Call Register....I shouldn't receive these calls!!

Got ANOTHER call from 212-662-4579 and did NOT answer! This is getting so annoying! Have put this number and several others on the DNC and they are still calling. Call is a recording attempting to sell me a medic alert device. Does anyone ever do anything about this B.S.???????? I am disabled and trying to get to wherever I left my phone can be difficult at times and I do NOT appreciate it!!!

I just got a call from the same number a couple of minutes ago, also the name Roberto Ortiz -- BIG SCAM: they try to get a credit card number.   And they are definitely doing no favors to those with Hispanic names by using the false Roberto Ortiz name.  I'm guess this is a scam directed at fleecing seniors, since I have been inundated with this type of phone call and mailings since I turned 65 recently.

I received a call at 11:46 PM July 16 and was awakened from a deep sleep to hear about their medical alert system.  I hung up on them but had trouble getting back to sleep for I was so angry. Our government listens in to our private calls but does nothing to stop this harassment.
