Automated call about helping with IRS back taxes.Don't owe any. Don't these nut cases have any thing better to do?

Answered call, nobody spoke on other end, hung up on me after 20 seconds.

Thank God for the Internet. Just got a caller ID message from that number with no message. Creepy.
The only clue I have is that when I called that number it sounds like a weak signal.Like the phone line at that end is fading. Don't know what it means but now I know it's a hoax. Again Thank God for the Internet. J

Called me at least 3 times in 3 days. Going to block the number.

Recording said they work with the IRS to lower back taxes. How can they say it's legal if it's a scam??? Happens at least 4 to 5 times a day at a business. You would think the IRS would go after these people. NOT

Recieved a call from 212-662-5303...Caller ID said Reva Burns...so odd there is a page on the internet about this. When I answered, there was complete silence. I have been trying to call the number back and keep getting a busy signal. Been busy for hours now. Very odd indeed...

GOT THE CALL WITH NO ONE SAYING ANYTHING AND THEY JUST HUNG UP. TRYED TO CALL BACK BUSY.

I answered and it was a recording about how president Obama wants the IRS to eliminate our back taxes and they can help because they are a tax center.

this number is a business and we are getting calls from this number...I would like to report it.

These people are obviously super big GIMPS!  I have reported them to the Secretary of State as I do all morons that call my office/home/cell and will have them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I too have received these calls!  How annoying.  I also turned them into the Secretary of State as i too am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST"  wish them luck with the fees and prison time.

I have taken this and similar numbers and added them all to one entry in my address book named "Ignore This Call" so if they call back I know it's a scammer, and I don't answer.  Amazing how many second and third calls I've gotten.  Nice to be able to just ignore them, knowing it's not an out-of-state relaive or other important call.

i called the number back and a standard phone sompany recording "the number you have dialed is not a working number", ....  bizarre.  be leary of this one.
