It is Life Alert. They are trying to scam you.

Life Alert isn't a scam. But any solicitors are annoying.

They have called me 4 times today starting at 8:12AM. They do not leave any messages and when I call back, they pick up the phone and say nothing.

It appears it is Life Alert.   The New Yorker is annoying in that they will not leave a message.
Life Alert is very unprofessional. I wish they would quit calling daily.

Calls and lets it ring only once.  My cell number is on do not call list.

I wish to block it from my cell phone.

I am a mental health case manager and used my cell phone to inquire about Life Alert while with a client.  The client was interested in finding out more information about Life Alert.  However, now I get calls from them all of the time.  Sometimes with in minutes from each other and as many as four or five a day.  The man I initially spoke with has New York accent.  No messages are ever left.  I have not called back.  I just ignore the calls.  Maybe he will get the hint.

I reached out to them for info, without discussing it with my mother, who would make the ultimate decision.
I told them I needed to discuss it with her and once I did she was adamantly opposed to the idea, I then spoke to someone and told them Momma did NOT want it now but she said it may be something in the future.
Next they tell me, if I do not accept the offer today they would not be calling me again, I SHOULD BE SO DAMN LUCKY.
I have asked them NOT to call me anymore several times, they do NOT seem to get the message. They call me about FIVE TIMES a day, quite excessive, so much so I am thinking of contacting an attorney.

Same with me. Ever since  I have inquired about Life Alert for my dad, and told them I wasn't interested, they have NOT left me alone! I get calls everyday including weekends, in the mornings when I'm still sleeping and even at night up to 8pm! I just dnt answer. I have blocked 8 numbers (from Life Alert) now. Be sure to ask ur cell phone provider if u can block numbers or u can download an app for it if u have a smart phone. iPhone has the feature without needing to download any app.

This is Life Alert.  Funny thing is that I'd told them that I don't want the service.  The rep was clearly not happy with me.  A month later I started getting calls again on my cell and office phone.  I only give out my office phone on rare occasions so I quickly figured out who it was.  
I just called the number and asked to be removed.  Hopefully this is the end of this.

Have you  client go through Phillps Life Line.  I  called LIfe ALert and  they  would  not  take  no  for an  answer when  they  gave me the  prices.

Claimed my number came up on their caller ID, which is untrue since there was no record of it on my mobile call log.

Download the CMS security app. You can block calls from whomever you choose. It will automatypically block the call without your phone even ringing. It will let you know they called, how many times, etc. And you can unblock at any time.
