I'm in MI and WTF is calling me from a NY #? Could it be my uncle Georgio!?!

Got a call from this number about 1 hour ago....get it several times a week.  I don't pick up if I don't know the number and if it's that important they can leave me a voice mail.....this # has never left a message nor a voice mail.

Just got a missed call from this number

Yep, I got two calls at my phone (at work) earlier today from this number. One went to voice mail. The message talked about "lowering your credit card interest rate. Final offer. Press 1 to talk to a rep right now".

Glad it's my mobile this number is now on my reject list!!!

the automated caller purported to be "card member services" saying that I was eligible for a better interest rate on my credit card. I am pretty sure that this was a fishing call trying to solicit CC info or a Soc. Sec. #. I did press "2" to discontinue calls and was connected to a live person, but I did not speak to them. I promptly blocked this caller from calling me again.

**DO NOT GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFO TO PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU!!**** Even if they claim to be from your bank or CC company. If they have a LEGITIMATE issue that they need you to respond to they will direct you to their customer service line that is on their published website, or on verifiable information you have already received from the company. They will NOTcall you to ask for account numbers or personal info. This would be detrimental to their own business as well as to you.
