Calls several times a day, doesn't leave a message.

Got calls from this number, found out it's from Carnegie Hall Fundraising.

Got this call every day for the past 2 weeks !

Calls several times a day. Caller "unknown" and does not leave a message.

they called me today. I couldn't understand, he hung up... I've been there more than 18 months ago!

Received a call a few days ago. Asked for my husband and wouldn't leave a message when told he wasn't at home. Said "we'll call back later" (I'm not sure who was with him) to which I replied "don't bother" as I hung up. I don't know about anyone else, but to me it's common courtesy to leave a message. If it was Carnegie (and yes we've been there) I'm surprised that they wouldn't have a more polished approach.

Received 2 calls from this number last night; glad to find out it's Carnegie; they call me at work also. Great hall, degrading marketing.

Now that I'm reading these posts, it's all coming back... yes, it's Carnegie Hall. I go occasionally. They've hit me up several times in the past, too.

Another reason to not go to Carnegie Hall.

Carnegie has a very persistent marketing program, which gets annoying after a while.  Plus they use an automatic dialer, and if they're busy they don't bother picking up at their end - you answer the phone and all you get is silence. Bad form if you're hoping to get money out of people.

yes, it was Carnegie Hall, asking me to become a member. i was there last month to see a show.  That's really annoying.

I just now got a call from this number. I answered as follows:

Me: Yeh?

Them: Helloooo?

Me: Yeh?

Them: I'm sorry. -Click-

If this is Carnegie Hall, they need to get more class acts instead of choirs full of children and terrible altos. My wife and I visited last year (which is probably how they got my cell number...stupid me), and the entertainment was horrible. The place was packed with parents and snotty kids all over the place. The alto sounded like a banshee and the parents were too busy taking pictures and gawking instead of keeping quiet. Thank God for the first violin. She was the only person on stage with passion.

I have had a subscription to Carneige Hall in the past. They have called me no less than 50 times to renew. For that reason alone, I will never subscribe again.
