Area Code indictes New York, Manhattan Number

Unknown caller.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Picked up phone and all I hear is noise in background but caller don't say anything.  I had a whistle nearby so I blew the whistle really loud into the phone and they hung up.  I suggest everyone keep doing that.  Maybe eventually they'll get annoyed and won't call anymore.

Threatening phone call from a collector, who says:

"Id rather discuss this with you now......" etc.

If you have a cell phone and can choose a ringer for each phone number, then put it on silence, or a small chirp and  know that its a collector. Or you can buy for about $4 a month, www.YouMail.com that diverts specific phone numbers to another number and gives them a specific recording that has already been recorded to dump them, threaten THEM, or just have 5 minutes of silence. It works for me.

I just want these idiots to stop leaving messages on my voice mail.  It seems like the same message, but from different phone numbers.  Let's find out the source and keep calling them for a change.  I am not behind on any payments, so I do not know the reason for calling me other than the fact that it is a scam.

caller id registers this number as the callback number, call it and get a message that it is a non-working number... Caller Leaves "streaming recordiing" voicemail with an 800# to call about some important business they are making a decision on.  Message is sometimes cutoff because it starts prior to vmail. Caller never mentions the name of the party they are trying to reach
