Called me and I answered. The man said, "hello, this is Jim Welsh" . Wouldn't identify company. Said he had the wrong number. Can't find any info about it. Caller ID said "National SEC'

It's a cold-call either the buy your business or investment scam.

I got a call from this number he asked for my manager, I asked what was this regarding he did not say,he kept avoiding my questions. So i hung up.

Got a missed call from 2129948900 and caller id said "Natl Securities" (exactly that)
There was no voice mail

My list of crap callers grows ever longer. Sure enough, "National Securities". I let it go to voicemail, but they didn't leave a message. Um...anyone with actual legitimate business with a service industry shop would leave a message.

We have an aging phone system; I wish when we replace it someday, that there would be a program that would shunt all calls from certain area codes to voicemail. If it's an actual customer, say, traveling or something, then they'd of course leave a legitimate message.

All the rest would get dumped into oblivion.

UPDATE: Boy, these people are persistent. "Well, when do you expect him back? How long is he usually in the field? Does anyone else handle such-and-such? Does he have a co-owner?"
