Wondering why I pick up my phone and answer with hello they hang up

Continual calls but only hangs up when I answer

This was a scam caller who said they were from internet security service and they were getting suspicious messages fro my computer.

I have received two calls from this number.  They do not leave a message.  Would like to stop them from calling.

Keep getting calls from that number 3 til 4 times a day. I said hello and they hang up . Be careful    I stop answering when I see the number 2132131232.

I got a call from them just now they said that my security system for my internet has been hacked. I knew they were lying so I just kept the conversation going on. It was a man with an Indian accent and told me to go onto the computer so he can help me fix the problem. I told him he was a scam artist and hung up the phone. He called back and I had a co worker pick up the phone for me and the Indian man asked for me by last name. a little scary..beware

Caller identified himself as a representative of Microsoft Wiindows. He said he was getting "reports" from my computer. He wanted to know if I was the primary user of a computer. When I asked who he was and how he got my cell #, he hung up.

Caller tries the Windows virus scam. Scam is to say they are from "Windows", tells victim they're computer is infected, and then wants remote access. After I informed scammer that I am a tech and know the scam, scammer then got aggravated and indignant. I hung up. Scammer called back to demonstrate they have my physical address claiming they are sending a technician. Operation is obviously using stolen database info, or info purchased from an unscrupulous internet vendor.

It's hilarious when they call me with that crap because I'm in Linux, but I enjoy playing with them a bit

got my first call from them today, they hung up when I answered.   Thanks for the heads up.

When answered no one was on other end.

Got a call from,this number today said I got $9000 for sumreason asked if I wanted in cash or sent to my bank account have me a code to call but then all of a sudden hung up I new it was a lie all along but jus kept listeni,g....not good to [***] wit ppl like that saying they have $9000 when they really need it the most at this,moment after my car getting broken into n robbed took everything my money pasport ssn purse everything was worth doo much my mk wallet burbery purse Gucci lotion everrrrythiinngg :.( sucks when ppl say stuff Kim u have $9000 anyways this number sux don't pick up!!!

Got call from that number...  they said they noticed suspicious activity.  Told them "aint nobody got time for dat"  they said what? and I said "aint nobody got time for that..."  kept repeating it every time they tried to talk...  they hung up.

213-213-1232 just called and said to "hurry and get my computer, they are getting a computer error", I said "Oh, gosh, let me turn it on", I said, what do I do next, he said "press the window sign bottom left and the letter r", I said, "thank you, I did", he said what does the screen say, I said it says F-U-C-K Y-O-U, I spelled it out and told him to get off my phone. Be careful people...I asked what company, beforehand, I couldn't understand him, I think he said RO, but always says microsoft technician.

They call telling me my computer has errors and needs to be fixed sometimes they claim they are google
