got a call from 213 221 1002.  said "out of area" on my caller i.d, but it's a downtown los angeles number.  tried calling it back and it hangs up on my several times.  

probably a scam.

I got a call from a Nigerian scammer using this number.  He's made that I won't wire transfer him after he over paid with a cashier's check.  Text book craigslist scam.

Seems this is an autodialer calling me at same time everyday. Carrier is MCI/Verizon and they won't do anything. FILE WITH your states PUC. This number is out of CA so I am filling with CA PUC and my PUC.GOOD LUCK

I have received several calls from this number, but not answered them as I did not recognize the number on my Caller ID screen. No message was left. I received  the latest call from 213-221-1002 today, did not answer it, but called back and received a recorded prompt that "Your call cannot be completed as dialed...."

I have been receiving calls from this number everyday.  When I tried calling it back, I get a busy signal.

They've been calling for about the past 2 hours, every 10 minutes or so and they only let it ring once then hang up, I'm gonna do it to them at 3 in the morning, see how they like it then.

Ok, If you ever played holdem poker, their is a term called "slow play" what it is is you have a good hand, but, you do not raise or bet until it becomes a HUGE advantage.
  I slow played these carpet people and got the number to bother them.For all those that have been bothered by these a holes call this number and bother them 888-845-8684

Today was the first time I received a call from this number.  It's listed on my caller ID as "Serviceprovider."  I didn't answer or call back even though I know the area code is around the downtown LA area.

well today i got this call, her name is grace and she said that one of my aunts need to talk to her so i said that she doesnot live here and she said " ill give you a referal num so she needs to call back at 18663710779 my aunt is sick so f*** them

leave repeated service provider i.d. but never leaves message

I just got a call from that number, almost did not pick up because did not recognize the number, but then I did and it was my brother calling from Australia.  Go figure.

Caller ID says service provider.. when I picked up they spoke spanish only. Just prior to that I got a call from 024 246 1930 when I googled that number it came up with a listing that needed to be translated form Romanian.

They called me, too.  Says service provider.  I didn't even bother to call them back since they didn't leave a message.  I looked them out & found these comments.  Thanks people!

So this India n and not American Indian called with this 1002 Out of Area number. I answered the call and said thinking by looking at the caller ID this has to be a sales caller again. So with the voice of discuss I answered, Hello they say is R E there. I said yes what do you want? he said, Is R E there and I said again this is he what do you want? He said, And I still can't get over what he said. He says "I want your credit card number". At that point I just hung up on him.
I have a theory, the next War will be over American fighting off people trying to still there money. Think of it, 9/11...
