They called at 2am and I answered and it was just beeps every 5 seconds or so, so i hung up after about 20 seconds.

They called twice at 5a EST. When I picked up no answer and the call disconnect in about 20 secs.

This is an efax number, so someone is probably trying to send you a fax.

I had the same thing happen to me last night as well on Nov 13, 2009 at 7:47pm & 8:25pm .. and NO this was not someone trying to fax.  I got the same beeping and jusy hung up after the first beep.

I am so mad!  They have called me TWICE on my cell phone tonight. The beeping is annoying.  And AT&T wants to charge me $4.99 per month to block their call.  RIDICULOUS!

I got called by this number 5 times with in a 2 hour period ,no one there no beep no nothing .. then I let it go to my voice mail and no message

I received a call from this number today and ignored it since it was from the LA area. When i called back it said "this number is not in use thank you for calling goodbye"

I just received 6 calls from this number, and when I pick it up it repeatedly beeps at me.  How do I make it stop?

Calls nightly between 3:30am and 6:30am.  Calling back you get a message that says "This number is not in use.  Thank you for calling.  Goodbye."  This message is fake and not a telephone company message.

are they only harassing those of us who live on the east coast?

Well they are calling the Midwest now, repeated calls on our business phone tried to contact them and got "this number is not in use - goodbye" well for something that is not being used - it is certainly annoying.

This garbage needs to stop-and not by charging people to do it..it's probably the phone company itself, just trying to find a way to charge people for something else!

Someone is trying to send you a digital fax -- online.  I just got one from my doctor.

I received a call at 3:46am and 4:20 from this number

they called at 330am and 6:30am who are these people

Calls come in as fax. A couple of minutes later, they call back with private number. This has been going on for couple of hours in the morning.

They called me today at 6:00AM and again at 6:20AM EST and all I get is a beep. I called back and it is not a working number. On my caller ID shows as a number from Los Angeles.

This strange number called me too. Didnt even bother answering it. Didnt know they've been calling others too. dont answer scam artist.

Called our office at 11:22 P.M.!  I would have been very upset if it had been my home number!  No message, Caller ID said "Unknown Name"

Got two calls around 3:00 AM, was very pissed because it woke me up from a good sleep. I picked up but there was no one there, no fax tones either. Said " Los Angeles", that's it. Besides, who would be faxing me at 3:00 AM?
