California Police Action League.  Scammers looking for over-the-phone donations.  Provided a 1-800 number for more information:  1-800-710-4149  is their "customer care line."  Press "0" then "9" to get off their calling list. You have to call from your unblocked phone to make it happen.

Didn't answer, figured it was just jerks trying to run a scam.  Looks like I was right, thanks for posting all!

I keep getting calls from this number 2132560057 but I never answer! I decided to do a search on this number and I'm glad that I did after finding out this is a scam number!!

California police, and do not want any more calls from this, it is a scam.

Scammers calling for money.

Not a scam in the fullest sense of the word, as it apparently is a real program with PAL chapters that "offer athletics and activities that help prepare underserved youth..."  
However, Charity Navigator shows that LESS THAN HALF the monies raised go to the program itself.  
The rest goes to fundraising and administrative costs.  (terrible waste of donation money)

Yes, I got one of these calls last night. Knew right from the beginning that this was a scam. He kept saying "we help kids in your community...& so on.." I said why don't you call people in your community first. When I started questioning him then he hung up but before he hung up I made sure he heard me say that he was a fraud.

California Police Activities League. Thanks to the above person who listed the 1-800 number, I called 1-800-710-4149 and opted out of future calls by pressing a button after listening to a recorded message. But I shouldn't have received the call in the first place, since my phone # is listed with the National Do Not Call Registry, so I submitted a complaint.

I almost passed out some mexican called me saying his name was John Smith and i was getting sued for some bs. I ran a check on the phone number that called me 5 times in 3 minutes......360 Networks out of Hemat Anza , California principal owner Daniel Ruiz.

Between July and December of 2011, I received a (grand) total of 113 calls from PayPal, but the number they used back then was 510-568-8483.

Today is Thursday, June 21st, 3:22 PM, and so far today I've received 4 calls from PayPal, with the first call received at 8:03 AM, and the fourth call received at 3:11 PM, and the day is still not over.

No telling what the next 4-5 hours will bring.

Pro Wrestler Hulk Hogan and MMA Legend Frank Shamrock Voice Support For California PAL

On March 5th, 2012, the kids at the Oxnard Police Activities League, one of California PAL's local member chapters received a huge suprise as professional wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan along with legendary MMA fighter, Frank Shamrock arrived to help support the California Police Activities League by filming a public service announcement (PSA) which will be released very soon.

The PAL kids where awestruck by the Hulkster as he spent time talking with them and even took time to shoot some hoops in the PAL gym.  "We are very grateful to Hulk for taking to time to support PAL and speak out about how important our youth programs are in various communities and throughout the state." exclaimed California PAL Executive Director, Gregg Wilson.

Frank Shamrock also took time to talk with the PAL kids about his difficult childhood and how he was able to overcome the many obstacles in his youth and start to make the right choices that led him to become one of the best MMA athletes in the world.

Both men were very impressed by the work that California PAL is doing by supporting local PAL chapters in the community and we would like to thank both Hulk and Frank for voicing their support for California PAL and look forward to their continued support.
California PAL and its 120 local PAL chapters offer athletics and activities that help prepare underserved youth to become a successful part of our future.
