Just received call from 213-261-5794 from guy with heavy East Indian Accent stating that I must call back or an WARRANT for my arrest would be issued.  Highly doubt it since I work in the local police dept.  I think I would know if I did anything to be arrested for.  I am not behind on anything so I have no idea what this is about

I got a call from this phone number. The guy on the other end of the line also had a thick East Indian accent and said that I must have my lawyer call this number back and speak to the lawyer that he works for, because he is just a paralegal. I have no idea what this is about and to top it off he called me at my job.

It's a scam, I'm not sure what they get out of calling and saying you will be arrested, but they did the same to me. I called my local LE who informed me it was a scam and since they somehow had my social security #, suggested I put a fraud alert on my credit with the 3 bureaus, which I did. Coincidentally I receive a notice the next day that someone tried to take out a home loan in my name.

An Indian accented man calling himself Kevin Hudson called my cell and my job wanting me to confirm my social and tried to scare me with threat of lawsuit and warrant. I wanted more info but he was just not going to give anything else.

Got a call from the same guy, making threats that my lawyer needed to contact them adapt, because it was a time sentences matter. I have called the number back at least 5 times, it keeps saying mailbox is full.
They had all of my info.

Got a call from a guy who couldn't speak a word of English if his life depended on it, saying I would be arrested prompt for my attorney to call them. I called the number back its says "Fraud and Investigation Unit" mailbox is full. I am calling the Attorney Generals office.

I got a call from the same # & he had the same thick Indian Accent.  He has called my job and my cell #  times already today, the message he left with a co-worker was that he was from a law office in the State of California attorney's office & when I try to return his call, it says Legal Affairs & Investigation - but the mailbox is full.  If I did not return his call promptly, all he could tell me was good luck.

I just received the same call as others have stated, but at the end of the message the guy said that if I did not return his call that all he can say is good luck with the outcome of whatever was going to happen.

I just received the same  call, very threatening said if I did not return this call he could not be responsible for the outcome - this is scary - how do they get this info.

I received the same message from these unknown people.  I was going to be picked up by the police the next day at 11:00 A.M. I contacted my attorney and was told this is a scam and not to worry. But check my credit and to report the scam to each credit bureau.

Was informed from a foreign male that me or my attorney needs to return as soon as possible or good luck

I just got this phone call from a unknown number saying there was a case about me. I have not done anything wrong can you help me find out what this is about?

Yep that same dude just called my work and was rude to my boss saying something about legal action against me. I called the same number back 213-261-5794 and messages were full at the so called dept. of legal affairs and investagations.

I just received the same phone call as everyone saying they were calling from legal-affairs and that i was being arrested. I then told the person i had no idea what they was talking about  to please explain it to me the person on the other end told me i was a joke and hung up on me...

Same story as everyone else. Had to place a 90 day fraud alert with all three credit agencies, close my bacnk account and have a new debit care issued.

this person has called my work  TODAY 2/24/12 and left threatening messages stating that he has a legal matter to discuss with me.  He said that his name is Jason Miller  from Oak wood Law Firm the first time  he said that a law suit has been filed against my ss number and that he was going to send 2 investigators to my house and tell my employer about this.  he said that I can call him if I wish to discuss this out of court.  

He said that I am "AN IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON" and if I choose not to call him and handle this matter the only thing that he can say to me is "GOOD LUCK"

I do not take kindly to threats.  This man has a heavy accent and you can hardly understand what he is saying.  He has my physical address and my ss number.  He called them out to me.   I have called this number back 4 times today and a recording comes and the v mail box is full.  I do not know who this is but I have filed a complaint with the ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE .  2 weeks ago this same man called me from 347 390 0587.  He had called my husband leaving messages saying the same thing.  I answered one day when he called and he said that I was referred to him by a Loan Company.  He gave me the name of the Company.  He started talking fast saying all of the crap that he was saying before and I told him that I don't owe anyone anything and if I did, I would call them first before I did anything with him.  He kept going on and on talking about how serious this was.

I told him that I would call the company and see what is going on.  I called the company and the lady told me , first she did not know who I was and that I do not have an account with them.  I gave her all of his information and she told me that she has heard of people doing that recently and that it was a scam and to disregard it.    He constantly kept calling my phone.  I answered.  He asked me did I talk to them.  I told him that I did and told him that the lady said that she did not know who I  was and she did not know who he was and had NEVER heard of them.  I told him that she said that HE WAS A FRAUD.  I also told him that she told me that they do not use a 3rd party for collection purposes.  He tried to talk and I told him, " YOU ARE A LIER" and you SHUT UP and LISTEN"!!!!!  HOW DARE YOU CALL PEOPLE with threatening messages.  THAT IS HARRASSMENT AND IT IS AGAINST THE LAW!!!!!  I told him that the call was being recorded and that  I have filed a complaint against your establishment and you.  I told him that I will not be threatened nor will I be harassed and will prosecute him to the fullest to see that justice is served.  I told him do not call my work or my phone again.    He called my cell phone again this evening and I let him have it.   he called from  347 390 0587.  He hung up.  When you call that number it had a recording that says "EXTENSION  IS NOT AVAILABLE but I could not leave a message the first time because the v mail box was full.  But I called back and he cleared his message box and  " told him again NOT TO CALL MY WORK AND MY PHONE AGAIN AND TO REMIND HIM THAT THESE CALLS WERE RECORDED AND HAVE BEEN DOCUMENTED.  I ALSO TOLD HIM THAT I WILL TAKE THIS TO THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THE LAW BECAUSE I WILL NOT BE HARRASSED AND INTIMIDATED.

They called me twice at work.  A guy named Steve Martin with a stronge Indian accent called and said that a law suit has been filed against me and my social security number.   I told him I didn't know anything about it.  He told me to call a Michael Carter at 213-261-5794.  I had my friend call that number and they wouldn't give him any information and hung up on him.

I got a few calls on my cell phone from 213-261-5794 very early in the morning. A "Jacob Anderson" left a message that I could hardly understand due to the heavy accent. "Please have your attorney contact my blah blah blah.. something something. If you don't return my call immediately, all I can say is 'good luck' with the outcome of this matter."

At first I was a bit concerned because I have just filed bankruptcy (so I'm assuming that they got my information from public records regarding such), but then I assumed it was a scam because why would the Dept of Legal Affairs and Invest. call me instead of my trustee.

Same story...when I called the number I got a full voicemail box.
