Somebody named Adam called me with a very thick Middle Eastern accent.  He said I have to call back or have my attorney call him back as it is time sensitive.  He keeps calling, leaving the same message & it is annoying.  He needs to be stopped.

It's a scam!!! Some woman with very poor English (sounded Indian) called me at work from a supposed law office. I snapped told her she could get me fired and if she wanted to talk to me to call my house after five and gave her the number. Around five a man of same speaking ability called and threatened a lawsuit, threatened to take me and my parents to court if I didn't pay 980 dollars right then. I then negotiated a two payment plan and got off the phone. My sister looked the number up for me and what do you know five million posts and blogs showin it's a scam. What do these [***] take us for. I'm a working man. I work myself to the breaking point day after day to make ends meet and I got to deal with this at the end of the day. I wish I could get just 5 minutes alone in a room with this caller. The score would be settled.

Was called at work by a very Indian sounding man,he harrassed my boss,talking fast,saying threatening ominous things about a fraud case against me.My boss gave me the call back number,which was this one.I called back on my lunch break and got a different fast talking man with an Indian accent,lots of background noise,he didnt not recognize the name that the man who called at my work gave my boss,someone who was supposed to work at that number,he thought I was saying that was my name,he was threatening and rude and said I had defaulted on a loan at an online website owned by a company called Insta-cash which I have never even heard of,he said they had over 500 websites,so I said that I wanted the name of the exact website that i had supposedly defrauded,he said it was confidential and couldn't.He said they were gonna put me in jail unless i paid today then he tried to read me Miranda rights like a cop or something.He also said he was from the Maryland district attorneys office,when i reversed looked up this number the origin was California and the name was set to private or withheld.We told him to send a cop to our door and take us to court,cause by this time we realized it was a scam. When i went to work they called four more times before I left for the day,luckily my boss is very understanding,but this is very annoying and disturbing that they know my work number.know after posting this i plan on going to http://tips.fbi.gov/ and reporting this as attempted fraud.If they continue to call,i will go file a police report at my local police station and call homeland security at 1-989-497-0580,and i urge you to do the same if they are messing with you!

I got the same exact thing as you Buxton.  Very disturbing that they are calling my work and my cell number, A LOT.  As soon as I said "I don't know you or that you are who you say you are", they hung up. But have called since, multiple times.

Received two messages on my direct work line.  Said his name was Daniel Smith.  Will not call him back.  Have been through this twice before.  No company name.  Just telling me it was a time sensitive matter of upmost importance.

I have received several calls from this so-called debt collector. I did some investigating of my own. This is a scam. These people are under investigation from the FBI and FTC. When they last called me and told me that the police would be coming to my home I informed them to go a head an send the police and we will have a convention at my home, since my husband is a police officer. They hung up. I wonder why?

same call i got from this number 213 268 0298 that i ve to pay 8000$ with in a month or i've ur ssn , date of birth , ph# all info because u've applied for a loan to more than 200 websites at same time

Continue to get threating calls from 213-286-0298 on my cellphone but the number appears as 0000 so it cannot  be identified.   When call returned a man with an unidenitifiable accent answer stating that this a law firm then place you on hold then hangs up. The call is returned minutes later threating to contact my employer and to take me to court.  My response on the last call to send me all the available information to the address that they have on file and to take me to court so that the debt that they are reporting can be settled legally.  They immediately hang the phone up and in about ten minutes received another call  with the same threat.  This company is truly a scam getting cellphone numbers and threating owners this organization need to be dealt with once they can be identified.  I would like to be able to report them to the FTC as soon as possible if we can obtain an identity.  If there is a name to the organization out there please let it be known so that they can be dealt with.

They are spammers from a warehouse in India.Report them to the authorities
