Called my son's phone after texting him offering him $100 Walmart card for a one time charge $4.95 to a debit card

[We want to thank you Call us at 877-830-6723 for your 100 dollar gift card Gift ID 319 Txt Stop to remove] This message was texted to me from 302-339-3786 (DE Area code) I called the 877 number and was informed I would receive a $100 dollar walmart gift card then he corrected himself and said it would be a $100. gift card and $150. gas credit for visiting a web site for the past 6 months and filling out a survey. When I asked which web site he could not give me that information. When I asked to speak to a manager he stated that there was noone available for a half hour. I informed him that the number he called was on the do not call list and would like the number removed. He called back from the following number 213-289-5573(CA Area code) to be sure he had the correct number to remove.

I think that's a phishing scam to get your debit info.  They record their calls, too.  You can hear the beep in the background.  Hang up and don't ever say yes or agree to anything since they doctor the recordings. AND DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFO.  If it sounds too good to be true...

I got a text from (941-284-8164) on 8/27/11 at 9:23am telling me that I had won a $100 Target Gift card and to call (877-327-9540) to get the details. I called and ws told that I had filled out a survey online and was picked to get this free gift card. I submit entries at Publishers Clearing House for their sweepstakes and one of the options aside from buying a magazine subscription is to take part in online surveys, but I never do or have. I asked the woman on the phone who she was calling from, what company and she told me discount coupons. I asked if they were affiliated with PCH and she said yes. She then told me that my gift card could be for target, Lowes, Kroger's and a few other merchants, but that I had to send $4.95 for the shipping and handling. I told her I would call back as I was on my way to a doctor's appt. At 10:30 on the same day, 9/23/11 I got a call which I did not pick up from "SDS INBOUND" (213-289-5573). I Googled this # and it came up with a list of reviews, one of which I saw referring to winning a free gift card. So, I decided to post this for anyone who gets a text or call from this "outfit" and to beware I think it is a scam and possibly a way for your identity to be stolen.

This number has called my cell phone repeatedly.  I generally do not answer calls that are not identified in my contacts.  After a number of such calls where they did NOT leave a message, I answered a call and no one responded to my "hello".  There were more calls subsequent to the one I answered.

I have told these people to take us off of their list. They will not do it. The same lady calls about diabetic supplies. She has an accent of unknown orgin.

I get a call form 213-289-5573 No message and they 3-4 times a day and I WILL NOT ANSWER IT.

I have received calls from this number many times and daily about every three months. The last time was yesterday and I told the guy (accent sounded like a person from India) I did not want his $%%$#$% diabetic supplies. He claimed two things which I knew were lies:
1. That it was not a sales call.
2. That he worked for my insurance company.

I was rude and told him I did not want his crap. He informed me that he was CANCELING MY INSURANCE. I told him he didn't have the authority or the power. I continued to mess with him until he got feed up and hung up. Hopefully he has take me off the call list.

I keep getting calls from this number - trying to sell me diabetic supplies.  I'm not diabetic.  When they called me Tuesday I actually had a conversation with them.

Me:  Hello
Them: May I speak to *garbles my name*
Me: What is this regarding
Them: Your diabetic supplies.  We're from *some medical supply house that I couldn't understand the name of*
Me: I'm not diabetic
Them: That's OK.  You may be qualified for ... then they go on to name (again, didn't catch) some type of diabetes medication.
Me:  I said I'm not diabetic.  You do realize that a non-diabetic person should not be taking diabetic medicine?
Them: You may be qualified for....
Me:  Are you trying to KILL me?
Them: No, you're just qualified for...
Me: I am NOT buying anything from a bunch of murderers.  Because if you continue to try to get me to take something that I don't need, you're nothing more than a bunch of murderers.  I'm calling the police on you!"

Then I hung up.

We'll see if they call back.  I've been getting these calls for about a year now, and was NOT in the mood for them.

They just hang up

I have received countless calls from this number and it immediately hangs up when I answer.  
Please stop calling me.

THIS NUMBER CALLS EVER 15 MINUTES AND NO ONE ANSWERS! If you return the call it says it`s a marketing company and says hit #1 for the calling to quit or hit#2 for a rep to call you back. I hit #1 so many times but the calls keep coming in!!!! Wow, what i would give to find out who and where these [***] are!!!

Said they were from Medi-(unintelligible).  They said they knew someone in my house suffers from pain.  I said that is incorrect, they said thanks and hung up.  Sounds like an international call, heavy accent.

They call me every day 5 or 6 times a day, but they are blocked on my cell phone, so I don't know who or what they want. They are such a pain

I do not answer unknown numbers; caller does not leave voicemail; this has been going on for too long. STOP!
