Called this morning, didn't answer. Left no voicemail. Caller ID just said "California"

Caller had a very strong accent..probably from India.. I did not let her to finished speaking..told her she had the wrong number ..she asked if it was ??? my number and I told her no ..... that she did not have that number and that she'd best take this number off of her list...

Why do these people get away with this? The Do Not Call Registry does not work!

No the Do Not Call registry does not work. They have ways of getting around it and believe it or not there are laws in this country that allow them to do it.

Same story for me.  This is ridiculous and harassment!!!!

In their market reasearch they should know that most americans have a very low tolerance for foriegn accents.That gets them slammed on before they can even get two words out. Especially an Indian accent, Holy cow! If it's a scam I think they should re-think their team.

Get quite a  few calls from this guy.  I never answer, they never leave VM.

I happened to answer this call today, from Burke Williams. VERY strong foreign accent, I could barely understand her and hung up. BUT i called them back and was able to put my number on their "Do Not Contact" list. Supposed to be valid within 14 days. Will let you know. Thank you for providing this site!

I have received many of these calls.  Last week I told them to remove from the list.  They called again just now.  I answered the phone and said nothing, and the lady was speaking a foreign language.  What is with all these calls all of a sudden?  My daughter called the number back and it said it was the National Diabetes Foundation.

Just got a call from this number telling me that his name was  Alla and he was from the National Diabetes Association.  that was all further I let him get and told him do not call me anymore.  Told him I would turn him in.  My daughter has been getting calls from these people 10 times a day.  On the do not call list.  What a waste of time that is.

I'm on the do not call list but have been getting calls from this number daily.  I called back but hung up after being on hold for 30 minutes.  The recording says it's National Diabetes Association.  I don't care who it is.  It's harassment.

This is a scam organization from a foreign source.  They are trying to obtain names and social security numbers (medicare numbers).  Do not give them any information. These calls come to you through the courtesy of our elected officials that won't do anything about them.

I received a call from this number just minutes ago. The caller ID said "California". I don't know anyone from California so I let the answering machine pick it up. They left no message.

I could hear this woman talking in the background in foreign language. At first it sounded Chinese..I think they have multi language people working in India for multi countries. All I knew is that she had my name.

AND Yep..I started getting all these calls as soon as I signed up for Medco. Medco has no business calling you since they do everything online.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with Medco??? As soon as you sign up to get your pharmaceuticals cheaper and direct..you get bombarded by them to verify your info and other [***].

I left an ONLINE email message from within my Medco online account for Medco telling them that my info on the site is correct. They should stop calling me. If they cannot provide my meds via their online site..they cannot do business with me.

I think they are banking on the fact that because you are on Pharmaceuticals..you must be completely [***] or drugged so as to take advantage of you.

I'm sorry...but being a New Yorker....if you think you can drug me and dampen my "spidey street-sense smarts"...you people got another thing coming. This goes for those politicians. If I see ANY ONE of them TRY to remove ONE insurance benefit that I PAID INTO my entire life for... like Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security..We should all send a photocopy of a guillotine to BOTH houses of Congress. (entitlement programs my [***] - They are programs I paid for! Bastids!!!)

I also got a call from this number.
They have some very old info on the person who used to own my number. A female with some kind of asian accent (Indian/Chinese at times) wanted to know if I had family members that suffered from Diabetes. I continuely answered "No" to her questions. After asking me is I had family in my home and asking if I was married, she asked if I wanted a wife! (LMAO). I could hear people chuckling in the background. I couldn't help but reply "No" and "Good Luck finding one".  
Sounds a bit like bored telemarketers.

Well, 10 days have passed and have NOT received any more calls from them. (See previous post dated July 20).

If the politicians can get away unscathed with what they did with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (get rich), they could care less about preventing people from harrassing us with unwanted phone calls! I don't "wonder" at all. Nothign surprises me these days! LOL
