Sms alert purporting to be from boa. Seems to be fake.

Texted the following: "Your debit card is now locked for security reasons! We apologise - Call 213-394-2872"

Definitely a scam. Avoid/Don't call

You'd think they could find some criminal mastermind somewhere that at least could write English.

I cannot delete this mesg from my phone.

The possible person behind this identity theft scam is:

DANIEL AZOULAY

He has been arrested several times. Google his name and view his arrest record. Notify the FBI financial crimes unit asap. They know who he is. If you received his message than he is about to ruin your life as he probably has your information already and is targeting you. He stole my husbands identity recently and cleaned out his BOA account.

Called BofA customer service 800 number on back of  my debit card. No locks on any of my accounts. NEVER call the number listed in texts like these, as they likely are phishing scams!

Just got text asking to call this #. I know it is phishing, I just wonder how and to whom it can be reported and whether anyone is really interested to investigate and to put this scum behind bars.

Received today also.  Report these to BOA using:

abuse@bankofamerica.com.

I also sent them a screen shot.

This a SCAM.I called BOA and they said that there was no lock on my account and that  they do not have any number 213
they told me to report to abuse@bankofamerica.com so their investigators will look into it. DONT GIVEN YOUR INFORMATION FOR THE 213 NUMBER!!!
