Received a message from the "Department of Justice saying there was legal action against me and that I, or my legal representative should call them back. I called back, got voice mail, left a message. No reason they should be calling me.

This is a scam . My cousin fell for it and paid 13k in pre paid cards . Brian miller threatened her saying she had a warrant for her arrest because of unpaid taxes . This was all [***] .

FYI - I got a call from this same number saying the same thing. The caller had a very thick foreign accent and identified himself as "John Davis." He could give me no details of the "criminal case" against me, but directed me to call "Officer Keith Nelson" at a second number (909-666-5728) to get information.

This has been coming out on the news to be aware of these scams .. IRS will never call to collect money let alone threaten to put someone in jail . I wish my cousin would have called me or anyone else to let them know this situation  .. 13 k later she learned her lesson .

Received a message from Ryan Miller or Bryan Miller,the caller had a very thick foreign accent from "Legal Affairs Bills."saying there was legal action against me and that I, or my legal representative should call them back.
I not calling back this is a Scam!!!!
I going to report the number to the police...!

Just got a call from same guy who couldn't say my name correctly so I stated the person asked for does not live here.  He attempted to correct the name and finally I asked what he wanted.  He said he was from the "state department" and that a legal proceeding was being started against me and did I know anything about this to which I stated I had no idea what he was talking about.  At that point he gave me the name of the officer "Keith Nelson" that I needed to call right away to get information from.  I said alright and hung up with Mr. "state department" and called the number given to me.  The voice that answered sounded familiar but I stated I was told to call this number and ask for Officer Keith Nelson to which the voice said he was Keith Nelson.  I paused then said "Gosh you sound just like the guy that I just talked to"  to which he responded "We are not the same person you F...ing B..ch."  At that point I laughed and said "that was professional" and hung up.  What a dick.

Received the exact same phone call - John Davis with an accent so thick we could barely understand him.  Total scam.
