Received call from this number located in Los Angeles, CA.  I do not know anybody in Los Angeles so I did not answer and no message was left.

called from (213) 457‑057‍8 - a heavily accented woman from LA, California, who kept calling me Mum. She told me that she was getting warnings from my computer for malicious ware sending out messages. If I turned on my computer and followed her instructions, then I could counteract the threat. I thanked her for her spam call and hung up.

Received call from this number located in Los Angeles, CA.  I do not know anybody in Los Angeles so I did not answer and no message was left.

Got a phone call from this number. An recorder w a women's voice said "good bye". Now I'm paranoid. Should I be worried??

Received call from this number on my cell. No one that I know. No message left. Usually get unwanted calls from people offering drugs for ED type issues. Don't know if this is one of those or just another scam deal.

My computer has been off for several days now.

This caller was a male with a heavy accent stating that I qualified for a government grant. I am aware of this particular scam, as I have read others who have reported this.   I have been able to figure out why I have been getting so many of this strange numbers that have been calling me and not leaving messages.  If you have posted your resume with your contact information on any of job boards such as monster.com or careerbuilders.com this is how your number got to these pathetic people who feel that those who are seeking work are not already in a bad enough state.  Tell everyone of them where to stick, and then pray that they will be stopped for good!

Got a call from this number stating that I had court papers they were trying to serve and that if I didn't press 1 to be connected to someone else I would considered as evading service.  I have no court actions filed against me.  I checked just to be sure.  Jerks.  A call like this could scare some poor person into giving up all kinds of information..

Received two calls in last two weeks from this number in LA and I did not answer and no message was left.

Call received - man with accent said my computer sending bad stuff on internet... ask if I was near computer, (i was standing in front it, turned off)... said "Yes", - he told me more things it was doing.... I said "how could it be since it is turned off?" - ( I was IBM tech for 30+ yrs, so leading him along), I asked him what my IP address was, - he said more about my problems, so I told him he was full of "B,,S,,", - told him more nasty words... then hung up.
