I got this call today on my cellphone. The number that appeared on caller ID was 1900142...very strange..he had a very heavy middle eastern accent. He said he was a MICROSOFT ENGINEER and that my computer was hacked. He said it was very dangerous that my computer was not protected and I needed his help. He wanted me to get my computer. I said I have my IPad he said no no I need to log on to my computer. I said I haven't used my computer for months, only my IPad. He said, "oh my GOD".. Yes that's what he said, not "Allah" or "Allah Akbar" he said, "oh my God" you must get your computer on, it's very serious. I asked him what he was selling, he said "I don't sell anything I need to help you, I'm MICROSOFT ENGINEER to help you. I told him to give me his number and I'll call him back he gave me 213-457-3846. I've had malware viruses, I've had my credit cards and bank account hacked, so I am very suspicious about everything. So glad I didn't fall for this.

got a call on my cell from #900142 his name was "mike taylor" with a heavyaccent n told me he was from Microsoft n my gmail account was hacked. I asked him how do I know ur not a hacker ur self? he souded very legit with his explanation. If I would've been the dumb kind i would have logged in. he even told me I can have any info gave me employee # tel# 2134573846 with extension 108  ect.. I told him i'll call him back n called Microsoft direct n they told me its a scam n it's some sort of Trojan spyware thing. BE WARE!!! If it wasn't for the middle eastern accent n the very Non middle eastern name I probably would've fell for it.

Similar experience...only my guy said his name was Paul Smith.  He told me to get on a site and when I looked at the site it was a site to download software so he would complete control of my computer.  I told him I would have to be crazy to allow this and he said he was not a hacker and a  hacker would not need this software to hack my computer.  He was by now getting a little rattled and gave me a  number to call back after I checked this out first with MICROSOFT.  He seemed glad to have the conversation over.

Received a call from an individual 0n 09-21-2013, when I asked what his name was, he stated it was David Parker calling from Microsoft. He advised me that someone was trying to hack into my system, and that I needed to follow his instructions very closely, that it was very serious. My caller I.D.  indicated 138-372-2413. Of course anybody can call, and claim to be anybody. I told him I would call him back, hung up and googled the number, FAKER. also googled the 138 number, no info

Called said he was with Microsoft and my computer had been hacked: told me to get on and give him control so he could clear it up: asked him if he was an employee of Microsoft: yes asked location: Los Angeles asked name and extension number: Smith Williams x 10361: talked with foreign accent: told him I would call him back after football game!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a call from a person named Nick Johnson employ# 6496 he said that computer was hacked had a very heavy accent said he was calling to help me with my computer wanted to have access to my computer and then wanted $149 to add protection to it. It didn't seem right to me so I called Microsoft and was advised that Microsoft never calls customers and the system they wanted to use to access my computer is not the system Microsoft uses. I am glad I caught it before I gave these fools my money.

a person that called them selves Ray Martin from online support for Microsoft called from 441383722413.  gave his return number as 213-457-3846 x4788.  wanted me to have access to my computer.  he claimed that my email was being hacked.  When I asked if I had a contact with them he advoided the question.  he then was able to give me one of my email addresses and when I asked him who my email provider was he hung up on me.  see I don't us a regular gmail or yahoo account.  it is a private address so they would not know who the provider was.  major scam.  They have even called me at 12:45 in the AM as well as mutiple times in the day.  I get the calls on my land line and on my cell.  Always the same thing. Always a heavy accent and when I ask for a supervisor, they hang up.  Sometimes they have even hung up when I ask for their name.  Block the number if you can.    But just to be on the safe side I called my email provider and they suggested updateing my passwords and that it truely is a scam.

got a call from this number. Indian accent, from Microsoft, regarding the hacking attempts on my computer... Pretty sure Microsoft employees speak English!!!

I received a call from a Louis Parker today 4/5/2014 stating he was with Microsoft and that my computer had sent them error message.  He wanted to have control of my computer to help fix the problem.  SCAM!!!! Indian accent so thick I could hardly understand him and his SCAMMING  Speel.  The number that called was 213-457-3846

I got a call from a guy named David with a very thick accent.  He said he was from Microsoft and my computer had a virus. He refused to give me any information on the computer in question.  He got very upset and eventually hung up on me when I wouldn't give him the information he wanted.

Been getting a call from the number (323)489-7476 for a few weeks now. Finally answered it to have a guy named George Matthews with a heavy east indian accent, tell me that my aol account was about to be hacked.  He said he was from Microsoft and they knew this because of when my computer crashes it sends the report to Microsoft and they found out that it was in danger of being hacked and information stolen from my computer.  He asked me to run a program called teamviewer.com that would allow him to link into my computer to fix the problem.  I started to do this, but then got suspicious and asked for a number I could call to verify this was legit.  He started to get angry, but gave me the number (213)457-3846, which is what I searched and came up with this page of complaints.  So glad I hung up on him and didn't complete the accept button on the viewer! Hope others that get this same call look this up too, before falling victim.

Don't EVER let someone who calls you get control of your computer. Don't ever give anyone your password information. If someone claims to be from Microsoft hang up, its a scam!

I too received a call yesterday at 12:59PM from a guy with a heavy mid-eastern accent - said he was from microsoft and that my computer has a virus.  I stopped him and asked for his name and call back number - he said his name was Nick Johnson employee # 6496, call back 213-457-3846.  I told him I will call back later.  Wow, the terrorist appear to launching an all out attack upon America to gain control of our PC's.

Got a call today on my cellphone from 305-363-2366. She said she was Sarah Smith from Microsoft & that she needed access to my computer because it was infected. I ask her where I could call her back & she gave me 213-457-3846. Wanted to charge me a fee to fix my computer. This isn't the 1st time they have called us so I knew it was a SCAM. Please report this CRIME as it is FRAUD against the American people. They all speak with an Indian accent. I think the laws are different there so they may not know they are committing Fraud. Please PROTECT yourself & your information.
