"service call" on caller ID

Offered to lower my credit card rates -- Visa OR Mastercard -- because of "your good payment record for the last six months." Said he worked "at the headquarters." Hung up when I said I carry no balances.

That's me, Apu. I will give you 20% discount on prescription drugs, if you can answer my call.

Remember, do not call me back, I am using bogus phone numbers.

Eat my pills and you will die..., hehehe

P.S. If you don't know who I am, watch the Simpsons. Apu, hahaha...

Called and said that they were with "my credit card company."  I asked what company and explained that because I'm on the do not call list, and it's against the law to call us unless we are a customer.  The black man who answered said that he did not care, called me an a-h*** and a M***** F***** and told me not to die.  Of course I have this on tape.  I told him that if they called it would be$100/minute for the call.

If you call the number back there is a recording saying that if you press 1 you will be taken off their list.  I think you are just confirming that they called a good number as I'm already on a do not call list.

Of course it's a scam.

Didn't recognize the phone number so I didn't answer the call, but I guess I did the right thing as I see there are several problems with the number. It appears that it comes up with many different calle id's.

Just called - I answered - no one there - Wish someone would stop them. Caller ID said "LOSANGELES  CA"
