Okay I responded to a job offer on craigslist. Same email received, but under a different name - Daniel Flagler. So happy I researched before I sent him any info. He also uses the number (61)2919-16545 in Australia

I got the same email but the name wasMichael Gordon or Mike Gordon! Same thing! Omg! What a froud!!

To the person who is afraid of their personal security - I don't think that you are in any danger.
From radio programmes in the UK about this and similar frauds the fraudster sends you a cheque and you put it in the bank and then buy stuff for the fraudster and mail it off to them.  A week or two later it turns out that the cheque is bad and the bank return it to you and all the money that you have spent on goods is your money and there is no way that you can get it back.

I replied to two different adds on craigslist, and got the same email for two postings both with different names. Of course I never responded to either.
