Someone named "Rachel" calling for my adult son by name.

Just another long list of "scam" companies and organizations calling to do what ever business they are doing the day they call you. From home improvements to home re-fis, these wonder [***] say they are saving you money by helping you out. However, they are all a bunch of low-life telemarketers working for companies that will rip you off. Add these folks to the long growing list.

The Home Center trying to get contracting work. Scammers looking to scam!

Called me today. After long silence said (the robot) goodby. Putting them on my  blocked call list.

This is a spoofed number,there is no such prefix 676 in the 213 area.  Home center as well, this company has been doing this for years, they are headquartered in Culver City, I forget the exact name but are run by Middle Easterners and the Contractors license board has a list of complaints as long as your arm.  They pop up from different area codes and numbers and keep hoping some unsuspecting idiot will really fall for their scam and have them remodel your home from a telemarkiting call.  To really piss them off, insist on the contractors license number and watch how they will cuss you out and hang up on you.

16 calls from this number over the last two weeks. I told them to stop calling me, have reported them to the no-call registry, but nothing seems to stop them.  I won't answer any more

Caller did not leave message

Just got a call from that number. Asking for me by first name. When I asked "who's calling please, they simply hung up.

No message left. Phone number above, name unavailable.

Calling my house after 10 pm! I did not answer.

Called at 12:30AM!!!    I didn't reach phone in time... and no message was left.

Same thing happened to me, the automated voice says good bye. I have verizon but I don't know how to block numbers. Can you tell me how to block that number? Thanks, Judy

You can only block 5 calls on Verizon.  So, give all the numbers you want a special ring tone and leave all the unwanted calls as the old phone ringer.  That way, you know not to answer them.

Calls, ask if this is such and such and hang ups. When you try to call back it says call cannot be completed as dialed.

Got a voice mail message from this number.  The guy didn't realize he was talking to a machine so he kept asking for me by name.  Then he forgot to hang up so I could hear his conversations with his colleagues.  It was full of obscenities and sneering comments about the job and the people in the room.

No response when I answered and said "hello".  I filed a complaint with the do-not-call registry.

I was just called by this number. He insisted he was not violating the do not call law and that he could call any time. He really wanted to argue about it. He was extremely rude and made veiled threats. When I asked him what his name was he wouldn't tell me but said he knew my name and where I lived. When he hung up he told me to have a nice f&*^ing day.

I also received a call from this number but my young daughter answered the phone and when they asked to speak with me, my daughter told them hold on and they hung up.

This is getting very annoying.
