Hangs up when answering machine picks up. Coward scam pig!

We receive a call from this number and when we answer, there is no response.

I don't answer unrecognized telephone numbers.  This is a Los Angeles area code.

What do these people want from us? I find them quite nefarious (meaning, highly evil) -- do they do this out of sadism, boredom, hatred, or what?

Do Not Call is a joke. But I wish it worked, that its supposed enforcement fines would get rid of this jellyfish who found out about telephones!

These people have called several times telling me I have been selected for a free security system. Recorded message. I have found if you press "5" the message repeats.  Sometimes I will press 5 over and over again and keep their line tied up for 10 or 15 minutes.  At least this keeps they from calling anybody else.

Its a computer they multi-task and call hundreds of people at the same time.  Technology.  I can do it with a 20 dollar piece of software.

Received call on 12/28.Did not answer.

Continues to call, and call, and call, and hang up when the answering machine comes on.

These people have called several times telling me I have been selected for a free security system and not to hang-up. Recorded message. I hung up and placed the number on a call block list after the second time.

Scam calls from telemarketer sleaze.  I thought California would shut them down.

Go to the "National Do Not Call Registry" site and file a complaint -- I have that site bookmarked.  More people report them, the better chance we'll have.  I just did, since they called me at the number I have registered under "Do Not Call".

Illegal recorded telemarketing message.  Pushed 2 to be removed from their calling list and received another call within 60 seconds!  Pushed 1 to speak with an operator and was hung up on as soon as I mentioned they were breaking the law.  Caller ID said Home Security, but recorded message referred to Security Solutions.  Reported to donotcall.gov.

Need to get a whistle to blow and keep it beside my phone.  If we all did that, it would help.
