The caller stated that there was something wrong with my computer. He told me that my computer was infected with malware and spyware and that he wanted me to sit in front of my pc, go through the steps that he would outline for me and try to help me fix my pc.
I hung up on him. He called back and apologized for losing the connection. I asked him why he was doing this and he stated that he was trying to help me fix my computer. I told him i thought he was lying, there was nothing wrong with my pc and that i was going to report him and hung up. He didn't call back.

Death threat from this number - but I do know the fella.  Just have the burden of proving it.  Law enforcement has been contacted.  Could not consider this a prank call.  Husband and wife team in the background. Have found the carrier on this and they have admitted it is their number and this is most likely through a company.

Called twice in 30 minutes.nobody on the other end.so I hung up.

They call my aging parents at least twice a day. Claim to be Microsoft computer support. Bilked them out of $400, which I got refunded, but refuse to stop calling. Dad has a terminal illness and 80 year old mom is trying to care for him at home. We have respectfully begged them to stop, as it really upsets mom. They just talk over us. I finally got mom a loud wistle. Every time this number comes up, she blows it as loud as she can. They still call, but hang up as soon as she answers. Gives her some emotional relief to this intrusion. Just a suggestion..,

I keep receiving calls from this LA Calif # 213-905-6397.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but of course that doesn't work.  What can I say, our tax $$ going to work for nothing!!! This # calls & calls, leaves no message...Its just freaking annoying, if they were legit then the company for leave a message regarding whatever...SICK & TIRED OF THIS SCAMMER!!!

Get a call at least once a day from this number. Man with middle eastern accent claiming to be from Microsoft and tellin me something is wrong with our computer. I've hung up several times and te continue to call. I've actually called the number back and the person who answered was a woman speaking a foreign language I did not understand...possibly Arabic.

Same issue. I just tell them that I'm following their instructions. They eventually get upset and tell my to F my mom and my sister. Which I have neither. LOL

Hey guys, same "LA" number calling me. Picked up by accident.  Here's an easy way to stop it. I have an iPhone 6. In my recently called numbers, I see the offender and hit the little i button (info) then scroll down to a command that says "BLOCK CALLER". Problem solved. You won't see the call and they can't leave a message. Hurray for technology!!!!

Just got a call from this number and they wanted to help me with my computer. It was an African accent. Upon further questioning, they wanted to help me with my Outlook. I have a Mac.

Nigerian or Indian accent trying to scam me. I told them this is the police station how my I help you? he got pissed and told me this is not a police station, I told him how about this is your [***]...!!!! he got pissed and started acting up saying bad words I did not hang up then I told him you are just wasting your time I am at work in my office making $30 in hour you can stay on the phone with me all day, you will not make a nickel from me... go find a job or better thing to do are you going to be a scammer and a thief all your life? your children will be proud of you..... then he hang up

2139056397 calls a lot.  I am in Law Enforcement, do not give them any information or follow their steps.  I hate to say this but your computer is compromised.  They have your telephone number permanently and will continue to call from various and private numbers.  Why do they do this?  They want full access to your computer, your saved bank account information, social security numbers and etc.  Your options are as follows..... Destroy the computer is number one.  If you turn it on and use it they have access to your sensitive information this is the only way get another computer it's not worth risking your identity and families security cause you wanna be stingy with your money.  It will cost you a lot more money and emotional problems if they do get your information  ..... Change your phone number.... This will allow you to live your life in peace or continue to block their numbers for eternity....  I'm sorry everyone but this is a losing battle with these guys.  Be safe, be smart, and take care.

who in the country don't know that these calls from so called Microsoft is pure scam.  They are in the news, on tv, on the internet.  If your are a AARP member, the send you news letters explaining this is all a scam. Please do not answer these kinds of calls.  If you don't have an answer machine, just pick the phone up then hang it up right away, waite. for the call back and do the same thing, until they get it that you are on to them

I just got the same call from the same number and it's not the first time they keep calling me and telling me there is something wrong with my computer I told them that I was going to report them and that all they want is money and quite harassing me and they hung up on me

They call frequently. I never answer and they leave no message. Unbelievably tenacious pains in the neck. And the ear!

Got a call from this number early this morning. I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't recognize. No message left on my answering machine.I googled it,and found this website. I have had calls from the Microsoft scammers at least twice before. I put the number on my call block service.
