No message. Cannot return call

Call twice in a row, never answer and can't call back

Called me 11/21 at 11:55 and asked for Debbie.  No Debbie here.  Have blocked nbr. Hope answered call not being used as link to overseas call

Calls from this # at least 3 times a day. Can't call # back, they never leave a message and when is answered no one says anything.

Said I was randomly selected for a US Grant Money of $7649 because I am not behind on my taxes..
Wanted me to give him my bank account number or checking account number.. could hardly understand him had think accent .. I ask for a call back number said he could not give it to me until I provided the account # .. he new my name and address..

I got exactly the same call this afternoon with the "government grant money" and being current on my taxes.  He wanted my bank acct number too.  When I told him I wasn't going to give it to him over the phone, he hung up.

Got a call from this number today from someone with a thick accent.  Said I was randomly selected by the US government for a grant of $7k or something.  When I said that the US government does not do that and that he was calling from outside the US, he promptly hung up.  Clearly a Phishing scam.  Please  beware.  Do not give your info to these criminals.  The US does not call you and hand out money, this I assure you.  

me too... the same as yours ... the amt they claim is the number they are tallying for contacting people ... since they are claiming to be out gov't we should contact the gov't office and also Federal Trade Commission ... the help the scamming them to be caught!!!!!!!!!!

Do yo answer from a business? I answer with the name of my business and I suspect that's why no one says anything.

They keep calling and either hang up when I answer or ask for my husband by name and when I say he isn't available they immediately disconnect.

I've been answering using a business name.  Get an immediate hang up.  They've called me twice.  Yesterday at around 2:45pm Eastern Time and then just now.   Let's make that three times.  Got another call while writing this post.

I waited for someone to be on the other line. Finally ! when after it was a computer generated call I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END. I kept asking who are you looking for. The responce was a ferry. I said Ferry? He said no?  I weed ta kaulk 2 ferry.. Nice...........

I received a call today. Just a few mins ago. The same thing. He said it was a government grant and wanted my acct info. I told him I am not giving my info to you. And I hung up. Pretty sad when you have to be cautious of these ppl try to scam ppl out of their hard earned money!

Asked for me but with accent but did not pronounce my name correctly.  When I corrected them they hung up.

I got this call too just moments ago. Could hardly understand anything he said. I had my doubts so I played along until they asked for money. I gave them a bank account number with $3.00 in it that I don't use and then when I said I didn't gave the money, he told me to ask around my friends and get it. Lol

Has called the last 3 days.  Didn't recognize the number, figured it was a scam so I didn't answer the phone.

they call me and told me i was selected for a grant so i gave them information and they tranfered me to veroncia johnson and she told me i had to go to cvs a get a green dot money pack card if i put a 100 dollars on the card and send it to them that they would transfer me 7,800 after 20 to 30 mins. After the time period she call back and gave me gary wilson number to comfrim my transaction and he told me i had to pay 350 more to get my money from his bank ( his bank name is ) (us federal reserve bank) i told him i couldnt pay it he told me to raise 350 more dollars hes a very rude man..

Please stop calling!  

Man called asking who I was than quickly hung up when I asked who he was and what he was calling for.  I tried to call him back numberous times but keep getting the message that the 'Number is not in service".  Based on everyone else's comments this is a definite scam.
