This is a SCAM. These crooks left the following message on my answering machine: "This message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this message will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 214-247-7139, I repeat 214-247-7139. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you." I called this number several times. Each time, the call was answered in a different manner: "United States Treasury", "Officer Andy Gibson" (with an Indian accent), There is a lot of background noise, so it seems like there is a group of people involved in this scam. Any time I tried to obtain additional information including their address, the person would hang up the phone,

I have been receiving this call a few times a week in the past 3 weeks, with this threat-message; "This message is intended to contact you regarding an enforcement action executed by the United States Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this message will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or the grand jury for a federal criminal offense. My number is 214-247-7139, I repeat 214-247-7139. I advise you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thank you.
No name left but the caller bears a sticky Middle Eastern accent.

Same message as reported by others.  Called the number and refused to confirm my identity; asked for ID of the individual speaking. Heavy hispanic accent; identified as "Alan Page, Federal Agent" and rattled off an alleged badge number.  I demanded to know what the call was about ... line went dead.

Same message...the key is his accent and he used the word "magistrate".  We just timed warped to the 1700's America or this monkey is not from around here.  Total scam...I called them back a few times and they aren't happy with me.  :)  Be careful...these guys are looking for personal info.  Sad thing is...many will fall for this.

I got the calls today with that number and called them back multiple times and once I was not hung up on, I told them that I reported them to the US treasury Department and the IRS. Don't think they will be calling back.

This is a SCAM. Did not know my name, did not leave his name, asked to call back 214-247-7139, said something about Treasury and Federal Crime. Bullcraps.
