solicitation , not sure who but i'm not answering

214 is an area code in Texas.  I'm in California and jerk's asking for my business hours.

9-8-2011 Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer. I have no contacts in Texas I know of.  I am supposed to be on the national no-call list.

receiving multiple calls from this number trying to sell me a sample website, told them no thanks and asked to be taken off of their calling list

Same as Jeff above. Their computer makes the call and when you answer a sales person comes on the line and tries to get you to look at a sample website they have created for my business. Told her no thanks.

I have no business in Texas so I didn't answer.  These marketers like to call during noon hour thinking someone in the office will answer.

Unknown but they left no message.  They called my relatively new business so I always assume it is a sales call.  They are in Texas and I am in Oregon.

haven't these cons heard of buy only nin the USA?

Said it was a courtesy call when I asked if they were soliciting. I told them we do not accept courtesy calls or solicitations, she said she would call back and ask the owner herself. What they don't realize is the owner has instructed me to answer all calls and inform solicitors to remove us from their list. If we want something..we can find it ourselves...that's the beauty of the internet!

they called around 1pm, I answer the phone using the name of the company. There was a pause, which I then realized it was probably a telemarketer. The guy asked if this was (name of company). And I replied, "Yes it is, can I help you?" He said something so quickly I couldn't understand him so I asked him, nicely, to repeat himself. He then started speaking very slowly and over exaggerated
E-V-E-R-Y W-O-R-D!
He asked "Is the owner in?" When I replied "No, the owner is at our corporate office and ple......."
I couldn't even get the Please remove us from your list out before he hung up the phone!
Whatever it is they are selling, they sure are going to have a hard time selling it with that kind of "customer service"

This is the third call from this number.  I do not answer unknown numbers.   Since no message was left, I will assume that it's a telemarketer.  Since I'm on a do not call list, that's not possible...is it???!!!
