Whoever this person or people are need to understand KARMA is a b!tch!!!!  They want $1,900 to keep me from going to the Dominican Republic for drug charges on stuff I have nothing to do with.

I just got the same call from John Anderson at the Dallas DEA field office wanting a return call, left a voice mail on my work phone. Was told if I did not return the call a warrant would be issued for my arrest! I called the Dallas DEA office directly and was told this is a scam, which I already knew. I did try to call John back just to see how money he wanted so when I filed my complaint on DEA.gov I had a dollar amount but no answer.

I received the same call!

Sane thing! Scared the crap out of me! I thought I was going to jail!! $1900 was the fishy part... He got antsy as soon as I asked for paperwork and his badge number, proof Etc.

Exact same thing happened to me today!

I got the call claiming that I had bought illegal things online, and I said that they could speak to my attorney. When it became obvious that I wasn't going to speak to them, the call abruptly ended. That seemed odd. Later, I decided to look up the number, and here we are.  Canceled the appointment I had with a high-priced attorney.  I had not purchased what they said, but I didn't want to be in jail without knowing what to do.  Jerks had me extremely concerned for absolutely nothing.  Glad I saw this before spending $$$ on unnecessary legal advice.

I played his game today.  He wanted $2,500.00 and wanted to meet in a Wal-Mart parking lot.  And keep my cell phone on at all times.  He hung up when I told him that the REAL police had been called waiting for him at Wal-Mart.

I just relieved that same message. I called my local police.

I got the same call on Saturday, July 25 at 8am (thought the timing was a little strange).  I called John Anderson back but no answer and no voicemail to leave a message.  What government agency doesn't have voicemail.  I just received another call from Mr. Anderson and he left 2 different number 281-677-3880 x -1224 and 281-677-1334.  Both times left the same message that a warrant would be issued for my arrest if he was unable to reach me by phone.

Same call--john anderson from DEA multiple messages. From 214-736-9560 ext. 1228,  214-256-4464 ext. 1227. Multiple numbers tipped me off to a scam. No one answered any number I tried to return his call. I searched his number to a home in Dallas.  Called local police.  They can't do anything to him in Dallas. Perhaps those who are scammed should alert Dallas police?
