Caller ID said: "McKinney TX"

Just called a few minutes ago..."OUT OF AREA" on the CID, and they hung up when my machine came on.  

STOP this crap!

I hung up when the recording began with, "If you are a senior citizen".

Stupid senior citizen call.  These are really getting on my nerves!

We get calls from this number at least twice a day. I have requested that we be put on their Do Not Call list and they continue to call "If you are a senior citizen...."

You have to loudly say HELLO - it takes the machine a few seconds to start playing the recording. At the end it will say to press 1 to talk to a human, wait til it says Press 1 the second time before pressing 1 - their phone will ring and eventually (1 minute or less usually) a human answers.

I always ask them for sexual favors and explain what Iike to do with their mother and what their father is letting me do.  They like lewd filthy and vulgar conversation a lot: I'm positive ! Because I have several times just told them to take me off their list, they say yes, but they don't - they won't.

So have a good time: answer, listen, wait for the 1, and the human and Have Fun.

P.S. the attorney general is a political hack and will do nothing - after all he uses them for his campaigning!

I got a call it was a dead air call. These dead air calls are usually made to see when anyone is at home. Once they know you are home the forward that fact to a telemarketer so that they can call and give you a sales pitch.

The do not call list is a joke. They add your name to a list and that is as far as it goes. The telemarketers know this so they just keep calling. I have to best luck stopping these calls simply by telling them that I am on the do not call list and your call is a nuisance, please remove my number from you list and stop calling.  These dead air calls are make by persons hired by the call. If you just hang up they will keep on doing it usually all day up to about 8 o'clock at night. I have a call block on my telephone, but what it does is ring once anyway the the call was blocked.

I have suggested that the phone companies install a feature that check my phone list for the incoming call and if it is not on the phone, the number is just added to a spam list with no ring. This would work very much like email except it would apply to the telephone. I could never get anyone interested in doing this.

They just called. I hung up on them.

Call came in "out of area"..but the 214 number shows...If I don't recognize a  phone number... no picky uppy..NEVER.

I just called this # back, it said it was disconnected...5 days later!

I just press the 1 talk to a human and tell them " This is the Emergancy phone for The City of __Insert your city here__. That takes care of it. If they call again, I tell them it is a felony to keep calling this number.

Keep getting this call and usually end up with dead air. They call several times and don't seem real picky about the time. I work nights, take care of my ailing father-in-law during the day, and try to catch a nap here and there when I can. These calls are more than annoying and there seems to be no way to stop them. I have reported this number amongst others and nothing ever gets done no matter how many complaints there seems to be. There has to be another way to stop these calls short of disconnecting the phone or changing the number (neither of which my father-in-law will even listen to).

Keeps calling, no message.

These people area pain in the ass with their calling every day and never saying a frigging word.

Just got a call from this number and I called it right back and it said "the number you have called is not a working number"...really?.....

I never answer any calls on my home phone.  Everything goes to my answering machine.  I average 3 calls a day and all are telemarketers or collection calls to someone named "Rosa P****".  It annoys me that I have to delete the messages though.  I only keep my home phone so that I can dial 911 in case of emergency and they will receive my address.  If my government really cared they would stop this constant pain in my ass.

someone calls from this number every day. Whatever debt you are trying to collect is not mine.  It must be a really old debt that belongs to someone else.  STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER. THE LADY THAT LIVES HERE IS DEAF AND CANNOT TALK TO YOU ANYWAY.
