SCAM!  Indian accent.  Saying I owe thousands of dollars and I will be arrested tomorrow morning if I don't pay.  They can come to my work or home, ect.  Wouldn't give me any actual information on this, "account" that is owed.  Total BS!!

SCAM SCAM, MY SON IN LAW JUST SENT THEM $$$$ DO NOT SEND ANY $$$ TO THEM.

Got a the same type of message that I owed money and they will come arrest me at my home or work. They wanted me to western union or money gram them money to a geraldine white in newark nj. Once I did then they wanted me to call them and give them either an 8 or digit number depending on the type of transaction. They have an indian accent and use the names Steve William and Matthew Rogers. Saying they are with federal crimes investigations. They would not give any account information or claim reference numbers. They keep calling and don't always leave a message. Asked that I send them a letter with all kinds of information. I did fax the letter giving them my card number, but the next day cancelled that card and got a new card. I will not be sending them any money.

Yes they call me too. getting really annoyed, so I called the loan company and they advised me to call the Attorney General, So I did and they told me what forms to fill out and it would be taken care of.

Received the same type of calls both Friday afternoon & yesterday morning.  What forms do I need to complete to put an end to this nonsense?  Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

Yes stop these people that are trying to take others people money.. why don't they go and get a JOB like the rest of us... I am getting the same calls but his name is JOHN KENNEDY OMG NO' FO REAL told me that i could do money order or money grams western union.. this is a trip threatening me that they were going to call my job... i spoke to the people that i had payday loans from and to confirm that i did pay off my loans and i am in good standing with them...

He keeps calling my work the other day he called under a different name ( Jon Abraham; clearly not his name) from a number out of Alabama he started out as the fraud detection department for a law firm and now he has up'd his game to claiming to be Mathew Rogers from Federal Crime Prevention only he called me from 2143104358. He goes nuts when you don't give him what he is after which is clearly not legit as anyone who does that on a call from anywhere legit would be recorded and their a** would be fired on the spot. They never give you the information asked; when if legit they legally must give upon request nor do they have the REQUIRED debt notification notice that they have to give. The FBI released a statement about this kind of scam giving almost exact details of what these people are doing during these phone calls. It is a huge scam!
