- TT| 12 repliesI got eight pages letter through my mail. It asked me to be a member with out any fee. I think, after I accept their invitation, this people will ask some money. It is a scam.
They asked me to fax the membership acceptance by the no. 214-367-3877. Their mailing address is P.O.Box 560627 Dallas, TX 75356-0627.- Caller: Invitation Processing
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Diane replies to TT| 1 replyI received such a letter myself. Have you found out anything else about this? Did you send it in?
- Chuck| 2 repliesI got it today. I'm pretty sure this is something I did once before after getting stuff like this a bunch of times more. They will send you a little worthless book trying to sell you a big worthless book. I bought the big worthless book and thankfully got my money back minus shipping. The book is super cheap newsprint, very repetitive political views and atheistic views. Some make sense but some sounds so heartless and Godless and low. After you buy one book they want you to buy several more, they even go so far as to say that just by reading it you'll pick up secret messages, like it's magic or something. My guess is that if you were to by all the books they'd give you the right to sell them. Back when I first heard about them they called themselves Neotech and one other name I can't remember, kinda bet they go a new name now. It's a ripoff.
- Leroy Pleasant| 2 repliesWhat is this just concerned, what offers do u give for not
- missy replies to TTI just received this in the mail asking to join for free and get free book, but nowhere does it mention
the name of the company you are joining! - Cricket| 4 repliesI just got their letter - such an obvious scam, no name (other than John), no company name, just endless pages of manipulative diatribe. Why can't these scumbags go and get a real job like everybody else.
- lochdhu replies to Cricket| 2 repliesRcvd my eight page letter today. Majority of the pages talk about the mystery man from Las Vegas that indoctrinated the writer into this secret society. As you say, he refers to himself as "John" at the end of the letter, but on page three he refers to himself as "Kevin" when he quotes the mystery man addressing him directly. I couldn't help wondering if this whole scam isn't another one from Kevin Trudeau. He's the infamous scam artist from infomercials that's still peddling BS every night (or should I say early morning). The government busted all of his scams years ago with the exception of those protected by his freedom of speech/press, which he uses with relish to this day. He's probably bringing in millions now just selling easy-to-locate-elsewhere information like the unclaimed money that many of us already know about that state governments are holding indefinately until claimed (I found $500 of my parents and helped them claim it over ten years ago after hearing about it on the nightly news). The other peculiar thing about this eight page letter was that he does identify the mystery man, not by name, but by saying he's the author of a famous "how to" book on poker. The author is Frank R. Wallace. I wonder what Frank would say if he knew he was being used in this way.
- carl white replies to lochdhuI want to thank everyone who posted there comments. There nothing worst than someone praying on the lac of intelligence of others.
like mama and everyone else told you.
IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS!! (SCAM-SCAM-SCAM)
IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS. - texmaybe something fun to do would be for everyone to respond and hope they go broke sending out tons of 56 page books.
Another observation is they say it is not buk mail because it is sent first class, but if you look closer, the post mark actually says "Presorted First Class".
The only way to get postal discounts on a large (Bulk) volume of mail is "Presort" it, so right off the bat they are lying to you. - Jodi| 1 replyYep, I got my special letter today too. Love the part where he says I'll never have this opportunity again...this is at least the second time I've received this special invitation. Guess I must be in "Cycle Two" a second time! Must be a miracle! Anyway, don't fall for this, folks, it's a scam.
- MichelleI got this 8 page letter today too .... for me it sounds like a scam ....I googled the fax number 2143673877 and got all kind of info ...

- Moe Joe| 2 repliesI just got this nonsense in the mail and I smelled the bs right away! Then after googling the PO box number out of sheer morbid curiosity, I saw several websites reporting this scam. This dude should be buried alive. That's all I have to say about this [***].
- MikeM replies to TTI recieved this letter today the wierd thing is about 10 years ago i recived it and just read it and threw it away never researched it until it came today 12/13/2011. thanks so much for all your posts it helped me from doing anything stupid. I dont understand how people can do things like this prey on the people who they,re lives are in a bad place . I like to see the good in people but these types of things makes it hard too.
- ToToI got a letter in the mail toO, and I googled it. All these reports came up about this man trying rip people off for money.
IT IS A RIPOFF DONT BUY THE BOOK- Call type: Non-profit organization
- Sue B| 3 repliesGot this letter yesterday, read it, I also noticed the presorted on the postmark. The letter, which I received Dec 27, 2011 said I needed to respond by Dec 30 2011 or they will "cut off this opportunity." Further, they said I will never be able to receive this opportunity again.
1) The letter mentions several times rare and hidden traits but they never tell me what those traits are.
2) The letter said that the gift is absolutely free with no strings attached however it is a PO Box w/ no contact number--hiding behind a secret society...really?
3) The address and salutation in the letter is the one I give for possible junk mail. If I want to sign up for something but I am concerned they might send me junk mail I change the spelling of my name so I can track who sends what or who is selling my name. Gotcha!
4) If the goal is to control other peoples mind or the ability to "make" people do whatever I want violates the laws and principles of the universe, and we all know this instinctively.
5) Anything coming from TX I am suspicious of...no offense Texans
6) The author states that he was 40lb overweight, depressed and $36,000 in debt and on the verge of a divorce. Now, you have to ask yourself, which of these special qualities he had that I have?? hmmm...and presto, they are looking for broke, overweight folks in debt. Follow the bread crumbs folks!
While my life is not perfect, I can tell you that magic pixie dust will not fix.
If you google "secret society" you'll get more information regarding these people attempting to gain your confidence and then tip their hat for money...later of course.
Lastly, if you want a good book that will help in focus your mind towards prosperity, health and happiness and all good things, they read " The science of getting rich" which is the original book that "the secret" as taken from...it is a re-write as the original book was written in 1910 by Wallace D Wattles, and you CAN get free on-line in PDF form. Yeah, really free. Read it and apply it and that is as close to magic as I think we can get.
If you are still curious if these people are for real and you just have to send in the offer just to see...then do this: check the box to change the address slightly, just enough so you will know if they are selling the hell out of your name and info and see what happens. Be sure to post here so we can get the update but I myself am going to pass.
I might have been born at night, but not last night!!- Caller: Secret Society
- Rich XYZLike to see a Reality TV show on Scams. Send in scam of the week. Opps! A Million Dollar Idea.
- Merlin replies to Sue B| 2 repliesWell, there are a number of things I read in all of the postings here...
1. All of the negative emotions that emanate from ill informed individuals.
- Yes, Dr. Frank R. Wallace is the originator behind the Neo-Tech and Nouveau Tech books and writings. His thoughts were however, very positive in philosophy and higher intelligence, neither of which is thought to be bunk or scam in the real world. His thoughts were in viewing obstacles from a totally different perspective, though... THAT is the crux of people thinking that Dr. Wallace is or was a crazy man. Dr. Wallace died in a mysterious pedestrian-automobile accident in 2006. To date there has been no follow up as to why. The person's name, supposed responsible, does NOT even show up in the official police report. (I've read the report)
2. Negativity breeds negativity... get over it. Either you accept your fate in life by your own actions and in-actions or YOU change them. That is the whole and simplistic concept behind what Dr. Wallace wrote and taught.
3. We as humans on this earth have this amazing conscious and unconscious ability to change and adapt ourselves only as individuals. By doing this, each of us "influence" others... this is the method of manipulation that some people do not like to acknowledge exists. We don't CHANGE others, we INFLUENCE them. Do this influencing positively and people are usually more than willing to change themselves. Hence, the followers of Christ 2000 years ago. He influence people in a positive manner. - Not tricked by you!!!!I got the same 8 page letter just an hour ago and like a couple ppl said my dad said the same about wether his name is kevin or john. THIS IS A F***ING SCAM Im glad I looked it up thnk all of you for posting if you hadnt than I wouldn't know anything.
